Jobs in Poland for men are not limited to one category of heavy physical work. In one vacancy, the employee may work with a scanner and small boxes; in another, they may move loads, operate equipment, or work at a fast pace. It is therefore important to look not only at the job title but also at the duties, schedule, pay, and working conditions.
Below are examples of conditions from WORKIUM vacancies for July 2026. Recruitment, rates, age requirements, and available shifts may change, so check the specific offer before travelling.

The catalogue may include offers in logistics, manufacturing, packing, order picking, technical maintenance, and other sectors. Some positions provide on-the-job training, while others require experience or a certificate.
Jobs for men may involve different types of work, from picking goods to supporting production processes. The fact that a vacancy is marked for men does not by itself indicate the physical workload. An order picker may collect lightweight clothing with a scanner or move bulky goods; an operator may monitor a production line or work near noisy equipment.
Warehouse, manufacturing, and seasonal jobs differ in their conditions, so they should be assessed not only by job title but also by the actual duties. Detailed conditions are available on separate pages for work in a warehouse, at a factory, and on a farm.
These offers may differ significantly in pay, requirements, and physical workload. They may suit people who:
are ready for shift work and standing duties;
can perform repetitive operations carefully;
are looking for hourly pay with defined working hours;
are prepared to complete training or a skills assessment;
have decided in advance what weight, pace, and night-shift conditions they can accept.
If you need seated work only, a consistently daytime schedule, or strict limits on physical workload, it is better to tell the recruiter immediately.
Phrases such as «physical work» or «good physical condition» are too general. Before applying, pay attention to:
the maximum weight you will need to lift;
how many times the operation is repeated during a shift;
whether you need to work standing all day;
the temperature in the workplace;
whether there is noise, dust, or work at height;
the required pace and how the target is measured;
whether protective footwear, gloves, and clothing are provided;
whether a medical examination is required.
Practical example: a 10 kg box may be manageable if it is moved only a few times per hour, but it feels very different when the movement is repeated hundreds of times during a shift. A weight figure without frequency does not show the real workload.
If the description says «up to 20 kg», clarify whether this is a rare maximum or the normal weight of each order. Also ask whether employees rotate between processes and how long the breaks are.
In July 2026, the catalogue included a clothing and cosmetics warehouse vacancy with options for men aged 18–50. Depending on the conditions, the stated rate was 26–32 PLN net per hour, approximately 4,160–9,216 PLN net per month, with paid accommodation. Another version of the same vacancy had different rates and conditions.
Another offer accepted men, women, and couples aged 18–60, had a Monday-to-Saturday schedule, and offered accommodation for 300 PLN per month. These examples do not represent an average salary or a universal age limit. They show how much requirements can differ even within the current catalogue.
WORKIUM shows the target audience, rate, schedule, accommodation, and bonus for each available option. Before deciding, compare not the highest number but the base rate, guaranteed hours, duties, and all conditions for receiving supplements.
Do not compare gross pay with net pay. Gross is the amount before taxes and contributions, while net is the payment after mandatory deductions. If one vacancy states 31 PLN gross and another 27 PLN net, the larger number does not necessarily mean more take-home pay.
To assess actual income, pay attention to:
whether the rate is stated as gross or net;
the guaranteed number of hours;
supplements for night shifts, public holidays, and overtime;
bonus or productivity conditions;
deductions for accommodation, transport, or work clothing;
the date of the first salary payment.
Illustrative example: 28 PLN net × 180 guaranteed hours = 5,040 PLN net before agreed expenses. If the advertisement says «up to 240 hours» but 180 hours are not guaranteed in writing, do not build your budget around the maximum scenario.
A 5/2 or 6/1 schedule does not show the start time, shift length, or number of night shifts. Ask for an example of a seven-day schedule showing start and finish times, breaks, days off, and how additional hours are agreed.
Shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours create different workloads. It is also important to know how long the commute takes. A ten-hour shift plus 90 minutes of daily travel means that a person spends more than 11 hours on work and transport.
If a high monthly amount depends on night or overtime hours, ask for a separate calculation of the basic scenario. This will show how much can be earned without constantly working at the limit.
For some simple processes, employers provide on-the-job training: they show how to use a scanner, explain packing and labelling rules, or teach quality-control procedures. However, «no experience» does not mean «no requirements». Employers may check attention to detail, readiness for shift work, basic technical skills, and physical condition.
If Polish is not mandatory, clarify:
which language is used for the safety briefing;
whether an English-speaking coordinator is available;
how to report an injury or equipment fault;
whether scanner commands must be read;
which language the agreement will be in.
Training must be understandable. The employee should be able to read the safety instructions and ask questions.
Searches for jobs in Poland for men up to 60 or 65 years old do not mean that one age limit applies to all employers. Current offers included ranges of 18–50 and 18–60 years, but other vacancies may have different requirements.
Before travelling, check whether the vacancy accepts your age group. Then assess the weight, pace, night shifts, and whether those working conditions suit you. The phrase «up to 60 years» does not guarantee that a particular process will suit every person.
If the job involves significant physical workload, it is important to assess in advance whether those conditions are suitable.
Technical occupations may require proven skills, a certificate, or a practical test. Before travelling, clarify which document the employer accepts, whether a translation is required, and which rate applies before the qualification check.
If higher pay is promised «after confirmation», ask for the criteria and the date of the assessment. Until the new rate is confirmed, base your expectations on the initial conditions.
Before applying, compare several offers by rate, schedule, workload, and additional conditions. The same job title may involve different duties depending on the employer.
Before travelling, check the key conditions:
the exact position and daily duties;
weight, pace, temperature, and working posture;
the gross or net rate;
guaranteed hours and shift length;
age, experience, and document requirements;
all deductions;
the type and conditions of the agreement.
A reliable vacancy should include these conditions in the description or agreement. If the position, rate, workplace, or schedule changes after arrival, record the discrepancy and contact the coordinator before signing new conditions.

Compare duties, pace, weight, schedule, and guaranteed pay rather than job titles. Apply when the conditions are clear and confirmed in writing.
People without prior experience are most often offered jobs in warehouses, manufacturing, logistics, packing, or basic construction work. However, the term “general laborer” can cover a wide range of responsibilities. Ask how much weight you will be expected to lift, how long you will be on your feet, whether there are production targets, and whether any equipment or machinery is used. This will help you evaluate the job before you travel, rather than after your first shif
Ask for a detailed description of the tasks you will perform during a typical shift: what you will need to carry, the maximum weight you will be expected to lift, how often lifting is required, and how many kilometers you are likely to walk during the day. Also ask about the workplace temperature, noise level, number of breaks, and whether protective equipment is provided. Phrases such as “normal workload” or “work suitable for men” do not provide enough information to properly assess the physical demands of the jo
Yes, some job vacancies do not require knowledge of the Polish language. However, you must be able to understand safety instructions and workplace directions. If the job involves operating machinery, driving, handling documents, or being responsible for other people, language proficiency may be mandatory. Before you travel, ask which language the team leader uses for communication and whether there is a Russian-speaking or Ukrainian-speaking coordinator available.
Find out the base pay rate, the guaranteed number of working hours, and the exact rules for earning bonuses. Ask separately about pay for night shifts, overtime, and any deductions that may apply. Subtract the cost of accommodation, transportation, and your living expenses until your first paycheck from the expected amount you will receive. Do not rely on a maximum advertised amount if the employer cannot explain what work schedule is required to realistically earn it.
Such opportunities do exist, but everything depends on the specific role and the employer’s requirements. Age is not the only factor that matters; health, stamina, experience, and willingness to work shifts are also important. Ask about any age restrictions and the actual physical demands of the job from the outset. This will help you avoid spending time on a vacancy that is not suitable for you.
Documents or a practical skills assessment are often required for welders, electricians, drivers, forklift operators, and other skilled workers. Ask whether your existing certificates are recognized in Poland, whether you need local authorization or licensing, and who will pay for any required training or certification. Do not accept a lower-level position if you are promised a future promotion without a specific timeline and clearly defined conditions.
