Welcome to WORKIUM! We offer real reviews, genuine working and living conditions, and a cash bonus after the completed work period.
Only those who have gone to work through WORKIUM and have actually started their job can leave a review. There are no other ways to submit a review, which means every review here is 100% genuine, without exceptions.
Lublin — is the main economic centre of eastern Poland. Jobs are available in logistics, warehouses, food and other manufacturing, retail, cleaning, and services. Some workplaces are located in industrial districts or outside the city, so the exact address and transport may influence the choice more than a small difference in the hourly rate.
The information below concerns vacancies in Lublin and the nearest surrounding areas. Conditions relating to accommodation, work without Polish-language skills, or particular categories of candidates are mentioned only where they help explain the actual conditions of a vacancy.

The city's official economic portal lists innovative logistics, food production, mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, and business services among the key sectors. For candidates without specialised qualifications, warehouse, manufacturing, and service positions are most commonly available.
Vacancies may include:
warehouse worker;
order picker;
packer;
production-line operator;
food-production worker;
quality controller;
cleaner;
kitchen worker;
forklift operator;
delivery worker or parcel sorter.
In a logistics centre, the work may include scanning, order picking, packing, labelling, returns, or moving goods. In food production, it is important to clarify the temperature, hygiene requirements, protective clothing, and possible contact with allergens. The same job title does not mean the same conditions.
Lublin is developing as a logistics hub at the intersection of routes between Western Europe and Ukraine, the Baltic countries, and the Balkans. Warehouse and transport operators work in the city and immediately around it. Manufacturing and logistics facilities are concentrated, in particular, near Mełgiewska and Metalurgiczna streets, in the Felin district, and in the subzone of the special economic zone. Some offers may lead to locations near Świdnik.
Before applying, clarify the daily tasks, permitted weight, temperature, targets, and the language used for instructions. A vacancy should not be assessed only by the title «packer» or «warehouse worker».
The number of available vacancies may change before peak logistics periods or because of new manufacturing orders. Therefore, check whether recruitment is still open for your intended date.
If you have not yet chosen a city, review the general page about work in Poland. The information below focuses on Lublin and the nearest locations.
Not every offer labelled «Lublin» is located in the city centre or even within the city limits. A warehouse or factory may be near the ring road, the airport, or in a neighbouring town. This affects the transport zone, journey time, and availability of early services.
Before accepting a vacancy, ask for:
the full workplace address;
the accommodation address;
the start and finish time of each shift;
the boarding point for the employer-provided bus;
the route on weekdays and weekends;
information about transport costs.
In the ZTM Lublin system, a standard named 30-day ticket for all lines in zone 1 costs 142 PLN without an LKM city card, while a ticket for zones 1+2 costs — 208 PLN. The fare was checked in July 2026; before purchase, confirm the current price and zone.
For example, work may start at 06:00, while the first convenient bus arrives after the shift has already begun. A daytime route shown in an app does not confirm that travel is possible in the morning. In such a situation, employer-provided transport, different accommodation, or another vacancy is required.
For routes towards Świdnik or industrial zones, check not only the distance from the railway station or city centre but also the actual journey time for your shift. In winter, allow extra time, especially for early services outside the city.
Warehouse and manufacturing vacancies may suit people without experience if the employer provides training. However, candidates need to be prepared for shift work, standing duties, repetitive operations, and a defined work pace.
Before applying, check:
the permitted weight;
the length of the shift;
the number of breaks;
the workplace temperature;
whether there are night shifts;
whether a scanner is used;
whether there is a target or productivity monitoring;
the language used for training;
the journey time.
Qualified candidates may find vacancies as forklift operators, electricians, welders, machine operators, mechanics, or quality-control employees. It is necessary to check whether the employer recognises existing certificates.
Labels such as «for women» or «for men» say very little about the actual working conditions. Duties, physical workload, and schedule are more important. Couples should separately confirm that they will work at the same location, have compatible shifts, and can live together.
In 2026, the minimum salary in Poland for a full month of work under an employment contract is 4,806 PLN gross. The minimum hourly rate for contracts covered by it is — 31.40 PLN gross. The net amount depends on the contract, contributions, taxes, and the individual's circumstances.
Use the same formula:
rate × guaranteed hours + guaranteed supplements − accommodation − transport − other deductions.
For example:
34 PLN gross × 160 hours = 5,440 PLN gross;
31.50 PLN gross × 200 hours = 6,300 PLN gross.
A higher rate does not always produce a higher monthly amount. This is a calculation example, not a typical salary for all employees in Lublin.
If the advertisement states «up to 8,000 PLN», ask how many ordinary, night, and overtime hours must be worked and what the bonus conditions are. The maximum amount is not guaranteed.
Before accepting the offer, clarify:
whether the amount is gross or net;
the contract type;
the guaranteed hours;
payment for night and overtime hours;
the bonus rules;
the date of the first payment;
whether an advance is available;
all deductions.
Warehouse and manufacturing vacancies may involve 5/2 or 6/1 schedules, two or three shifts, and working days lasting 8–12 hours. These are possible arrangements, not a standard for every employer in Lublin.
If the advertisement states «up to 12 hours», determine whether this means a guaranteed shift length, voluntary overtime, or an extension only when orders are available. Monthly income depends on this.
Consider not only the shift length but also the journey. A ten-hour shift and 65 minutes of travel in each direction mean 12 hours and 10 minutes away from home. With a 6/1 schedule, this is 73 hours per week, excluding time spent waiting for transport.
Clarify:
when the schedule is issued;
whether breaks are paid;
how night hours are paid;
whether an additional shift can be declined;
what happens when there are not enough orders;
whether transport operates after the final shift.
Vacancies without Polish-language requirements are available in warehouses, sorting, packing, and simple manufacturing operations. However, the phrase «language is not required» should be confirmed by the actual working conditions.
It is easier to start without Polish if:
there is a Ukrainian-speaking coordinator;
training and instructions are provided in a language the candidate understands;
the work does not involve customer contact;
the scanner has an understandable interface;
the team leader can explain changes to the task.
Polish is more often required in retail, care, delivery, food-service establishments, and work involving documentation. The recruiter may speak Ukrainian, while the shift supervisor — may speak only Polish.
Ask: «Which language is used for safety instructions, training, and daily communication?» This is more useful than a general question about language.
If you are specifically interested in work in Lublin with accommodation, the detailed living conditions should be considered on a separate page. Here, it is important to check how accommodation affects the cost and journey.
Ask for written confirmation of:
the address;
the monthly price;
utility charges;
the deposit;
the number of people in the room;
the transport zone;
the route;
the rules after employment ends.
For example, a room that is 300 PLN cheaper does not provide savings if transport costs 150 PLN more and the longer journey takes 25–30 hours per month. This is a calculated scenario, not an average accommodation price.
Based on WORKIUM's observations, most misunderstandings arise when a candidate sees the words «accommodation is provided» but does not clarify the price, address, and number of people in the room. These three details must be obtained before departure.
WORKIUM verifies the employer and key conditions before publishing a vacancy. Before travelling, confirm again that recruitment is still open, the start date, the shift, and accommodation availability.
After arrival, make sure that the actual conditions match the arrangements: address, schedule, rate, and accommodation.
Keep the following in a message:
the employer's name and address;
the duties;
the contract type;
the rate;
the guaranteed hours;
the schedule;
the bonuses and deductions;
the accommodation and transport;
the working language;
the coordinator's contact details.
Do not transfer money to a private bank card solely to «reserve» a vacancy or accommodation without confirmation of the conditions. Verify the recipient, the reason for payment, and the agreement. Review current WORKIUM vacancies and compare the full conditions.
Before buying a ticket, clarify:
What is the full workplace address?
Is it Lublin or a nearby town?
What are the duties and permitted weight?
Which language is used for training?
What is the rate, and is it stated gross?
How many hours are guaranteed?
What is the exact schedule?
How can employees reach the early and night shifts?
What is the full cost of accommodation?
When is the first payment?
If the recruiter cannot provide the address, hours, or all accommodation costs, request clarification before departure.
Your earnings depend on the position, the type of contract, the number of working hours, night shifts, and bonuses. Compare the gross pay, the guaranteed number of working hours, and all deductions. Ask the employer to provide an estimated pay calculation based on your work schedule and to list all deductions in writing.
Such vacancies are available in warehouses and manufacturing. Confirm which language is used for training, safety instructions, the scanner interface, and communication with the shift supervisor. The conditions for the specific vacancy should be confirmed before buying tickets.
Yes, but the accommodation may not be free. Before you travel, confirm the address, cost, security deposit, utility charges, the number of people sharing the room, and the route to the workplace. Before your departure, obtain the exact address, the full accommodation cost, and the accommodation rules in writing.
Common vacancies in Lublin include order picker, packer, warehouse worker, production operator, food production worker, quality inspector, and cleaner. The conditions for the specific vacancy should be confirmed before buying tickets.
No. Some warehouses and manufacturing sites are located in industrial zones or on the outskirts of the city. Ask for the exact address and check the available transport for every shift. Verify the address on a map together with the route from your accommodation to the workplace for each shift.
