2598 is a short, toll-free hotline number available in Ukraine for people looking for verified jobs in Poland and other European Union countries. The hotline can be called from a mobile number issued by a Ukrainian operator while the caller is in Ukraine.
Consultations are provided in Ukrainian. A consultant will help find a suitable vacancy, explain the working conditions, coordinate the candidate’s application with the employer and provide all necessary instructions before departure.
Calls to 2598, consultations, vacancy selection and employment support are all free of charge. Candidates do not pay for the job search or employment services either.
The 2598 hotline was created for people who need help finding work in EU countries. It provides free support throughout the entire process — from choosing a vacancy to starting a new job.
The consultant asks about the candidate’s preferences, selects suitable opportunities, explains the conditions in detail, contacts the employer and supports the candidate throughout the employment process.
The hotline operates with the support of the Estonian company Workium, a service that helps people find official employment in EU countries.
The 2598 hotline has been operating in Ukraine since 8 September 2026.
Below, we explain how the process works step by step.
There is no need to have a complete plan, a chosen country or a specific vacancy. People can contact the hotline even if they are only considering working abroad and would first like to understand which opportunities are available to them.
The consultant will calmly answer questions, explain the available vacancies and describe their conditions. There is no need to make an immediate decision after the consultation. Candidates can consider the available options, discuss them with their family, decline any vacancy or return to the job search later.
The call, consultation, vacancy selection, answers to questions and further support always remain free of charge, regardless of the candidate’s final decision.
Vacancy selection is available to people aged 18 and over. The entire process — from the first enquiry to receiving instructions before departure — consists of five clear steps.
A candidate can contact a consultant by calling 2598 or writing through Viber or Telegram. During the conversation, the consultant will listen carefully and ask about the candidate’s experience, preferred country, type of work, expected salary, schedule, accommodation needs and possible departure date. If necessary, the consultant will ask additional questions to understand the individual situation and offer vacancies that genuinely match the request.
The consultant checks the available opportunities and selects those that best match the candidate’s preferences. The conditions of each vacancy are explained clearly and in detail, including responsibilities, working hours, salary, employer requirements, accommodation, transport to the workplace and other important details.
During the consultation, the candidate receives detailed information about all known conditions and features of the vacancy, including shift schedules, night shifts, physical demands, production targets and other relevant details. This makes it possible to understand the actual conditions in advance and decide whether the vacancy is suitable.
If the first options are unsuitable, the search continues. Candidates do not need to accept the first vacancy offered — the consultant helps them find a position that genuinely matches their needs.
The candidate can calmly compare the suggested vacancies and independently decide which one is the best fit. The consultant answers questions and, when necessary, requests additional information directly from the employer.
Once the candidate selects a vacancy, the consultant contacts the employer and provides the necessary information about the candidate.
If the employer is ready to accept the candidate, a place is confirmed and reserved. The consultant then agrees on the arrival date, provides the address and explains the next steps.
After the place has been confirmed, the candidate receives clear, step-by-step instructions: which documents to prepare, when and where to travel, who will meet them after arrival and whom to contact locally.
The consultant remains available at every stage — during preparation for departure, after arrival and even after the candidate starts work. If additional questions arise, clarification is needed or the candidate remembers something they did not ask earlier, they can always call or write and receive the necessary support.
Before travelling, the candidate will already know the main working conditions and have a clear plan of action. They will not be travelling without certainty, but to a specific vacancy where the employer has already confirmed a place and is expecting them on the agreed date.
During the consultation, candidates can find out:
All information is explained in clear language without complicated terminology. Before choosing a vacancy, the candidate will know where they will work, which duties they will perform, how much they can earn, where they will live and which expenses may arise. This helps candidates make a calm and informed decision so that important details do not come as a surprise after arrival.
The largest number of opportunities is usually available to people interested in jobs in Poland. The hotline can also provide information about:
The Workium team continuously monitors changes in available vacancies and updates the information so that candidates receive current conditions at the time of their enquiry.
Workium’s main objective is to help people find verified, official work abroad without deception or unpleasant surprises.
Before travelling, candidates should clearly understand where they are going, what work they will perform, how much they will earn, where they will live and which expenses may arise.
For this reason, Workium does not simply pass on information provided by an employer. Every vacancy undergoes a multi-stage internal verification process before it is published on the website and offered to candidates.
Workium first verifies the employer, including the company’s documents, registration details and legal right to conduct business. A cooperation agreement is concluded only after the employer has successfully completed this verification.
The team then verifies the vacancy and its main conditions:
Accommodation conditions are checked separately. The team obtains photographs and videos and, when necessary, inspects the accommodation in person or by video call with the employer’s representative.
If there is not enough information to complete the verification, Workium asks the employer to provide additional details. The vacancy is not published until the verification has been completed.
If the employer, working conditions or accommodation do not meet Workium’s requirements, the vacancy will not be published on the website or offered to candidates.
Verification does not end after publication. The team continues to monitor the accuracy of the information, reviews enquiries from candidates and conducts additional checks when necessary. If conditions change or violations are confirmed, the vacancy may be hidden or removed from the website entirely.
Before the candidate travels, the consultant checks once again that the vacancy is still available, that a place remains open and that the employer is expecting the candidate on the agreed date.
All Workium assistance with finding a job and arranging employment is free of charge for candidates. Candidates do not pay a commission for contacting the hotline, speaking with a consultant, accessing vacancies, selecting a job, communicating with the employer, confirming a place or receiving further support.
There is no charge for this assistance before departure, after arrival or after starting work. If a suggested vacancy is unsuitable or the candidate later needs to find another job, an additional consultation and a new vacancy search also remain free of charge.
Depending on the conditions of a particular vacancy, candidates may have personal expenses for travel, food or accommodation. Information about these expenses is available in the vacancy description and can also be confirmed with the consultant.
After arriving and starting work, the candidate continues to receive support from the Workium team. If questions arise or assistance is needed while working abroad, the candidate can contact the consultant again.
The team can help clarify information, find the right contact, communicate with the employer or coordinator and explain what to do next. If the job is unsuitable or the candidate wants to change workplaces, the consultant will check the available vacancies and help find another option.
This means the candidate is not left alone in a foreign country and knows that support from the Workium team remains available when needed.
The 2598 hotline operates seven days a week. Calls can be made at any time and are handled by consultants in the order they are received. If all consultants are assisting other callers at the time of the enquiry, the waiting time may be longer.
While in Ukraine, people can not only call 2598 but also write to a consultant through Viber or Telegram and receive a complete consultation by message.
The short number 2598 can only be called from a mobile number issued by a Ukrainian operator while the caller is in Ukraine. The number cannot be reached from abroad.
The 2598 hotline operates with the support of the Estonian company Workium OÜ.
Consultants use current vacancies from the Workium catalogue, check whether places are still available and, when necessary, confirm information directly with employers.
The Workium team updates vacancy information and helps consultants maintain contact with employers. This allows candidates to receive information that is current at the time of their enquiry.
The 2598* hotline is an official Workium support channel for people looking for work in EU countries. All current ways to contact Workium are available on the “Contacts” page.

A consultant will help you find current jobs abroad, compare the conditions, and choose a suitable position. After you select a vacancy, the consultant will contact the employer, obtain confirmation that a place is available, and explain which documents to prepare, when and where to travel, and whom to contact after arrival.
Support does not end once employment begins. If questions arise while working, the candidate can contact the Workium team again.
Yes. Calls to the short number 2598 are free for subscribers of all national GSM operators in Ukraine.
The consultation, job matching, communication with the employer, and further support are also free for the candidate.
Any adult who is currently in Ukraine and uses a mobile number issued by a Ukrainian operator can call.
Employment opportunities depend on the candidate’s documents, the requirements of the specific employer, and the rules of the country where the vacancy is located. Each request is considered individually.
No. The short number 2598 can only be called from within Ukraine using a mobile number issued by a Ukrainian operator.
People who are abroad can contact a consultant through 2598.eu. The site allows you to write via Viber or Telegram or leave a phone number for a callback.
The primary language of consultations on the 2598 hotline is Ukrainian. The consultant will clearly explain the vacancy conditions, employer requirements, salary, schedule, accommodation, and employment process.
No. You can call the hotline simply to ask questions, learn about available vacancies, or understand whether working abroad may be right for you.
After the consultation, the candidate can consider the suggested options, discuss them with family, decline any vacancy, or return to the search later. The consultation remains free regardless of the decision.
The call itself does not mean automatic employment. First, the candidate selects a vacancy, after which the consultant sends the necessary information to the employer.
A place is considered confirmed once the employer states that they are ready to accept the candidate. The arrival date and next steps are then agreed.
The largest number of vacancies is usually available in Poland. Opportunities may also be available in Czechia, Germany, the Netherlands, Slovakia, Lithuania, and other European Union countries.
The list of countries and the number of available places change constantly: some recruitment rounds close, others open, and some jobs are seasonal. The consultant checks the current options when the candidate contacts the hotline.
Such vacancies may be available, but this depends on current recruitment and employer requirements. Some jobs do not require experience or foreign-language skills, while others have specific requirements.
The consultant will check current offers and explain which options match the candidate’s experience, skills, and documents.
The required documents depend on the country, the specific vacancy, the candidate’s citizenship and legal status, and the employer’s requirements.
During the consultation, the consultant will review the candidate’s situation and explain which documents need to be prepared. Once the place is confirmed, the candidate will receive clear instructions before departure.
Yes. The candidate does not pay Workium a commission for the job search, vacancy matching, communication with the employer, confirmation of a place, or employment support.
Depending on the conditions of a particular vacancy, the candidate may still have personal expenses for travel, food, or accommodation. These are not payments to Workium for employment services. Information about known expenses can be found in the vacancy description or confirmed with a consultant.
This depends on the specific vacancy. For some positions, the employer arranges accommodation and transportation to the workplace, but the conditions and possible costs may vary.
Before the candidate selects a vacancy, the consultant will explain whether accommodation is provided, how much it costs, where it is located, and how transportation to work is arranged.
Before publishing a vacancy, Workium checks the employer’s documents and registration details, working conditions, salary, schedule, duties, accommodation, transportation, and possible additional expenses.
If the information is insufficient, the vacancy is not published until the review is complete. If the employer or the offered conditions do not meet Workium’s requirements, the vacancy is not listed on the site or offered to candidates.
More information about this process is available on the page “How Workium verifies employers and vacancies”.
Call or write to a Workium consultant and explain the situation. The team will help clarify the information, contact the employer or coordinator, and understand the next steps.
If the vacancy is genuinely unsuitable or the candidate wants to change jobs, the consultant will check available offers and help look for another possible option. Follow-up consultations and support from the team remain free.
All current ways to contact the team are listed on the Contact page.
