On this page, you will learn how WORKIUM verifies employers and vacancies before publication, what information we check, under which conditions a vacancy may be rejected or removed, how we respond to user reports, and what we do to keep information up to date.
Working abroad — is not an ordinary online purchase. A person makes a decision that may affect their financial situation, place of residence, and safety. This is why we verify vacancies before publication, so that candidates have the most complete, transparent, and reliable information possible about the employer, working conditions, and accommodation before making an employment decision.
Every vacancy undergoes a multi-level internal review before it is published on the website. The process consists of several consecutive stages, each with its own assessment criteria.
First, the employer undergoes a legal review. We check the company's documents, registration details, and right to conduct its activities, and we conclude a cooperation agreement. Only after this stage has been completed successfully do we proceed to the vacancy review.
We then check whether vacancies comply with WORKIUM's rules and standards. We analyse the information provided by the employer and review the vacancy description, working conditions, pay level, work schedule, candidate requirements, and other important details.
Next, we verify the accommodation conditions. The WORKIUM team may personally visit the accommodation or carry out a remote inspection by video call with the employer's representative. We obtain photographs, video materials, and other information needed to assess the actual living conditions.
After all review stages have been completed, the WORKIUM team summarises the results and decides whether to publish the vacancy. If the employer, vacancy, working conditions, or accommodation do not meet our requirements, the vacancy is not published. If the review is completed successfully, the vacancy is published on the website together with a detailed description of the working and living conditions, photographs, video materials, and other information required for the candidate to make an informed decision.
Before the vacancy is published
Every vacancy is reviewed before publication. If we determine during the review that the employer or vacancy does not meet WORKIUM's requirements, the vacancy is not published on the website.
This may happen, for example, if:
the employer provided false or incomplete information;
documents or information required for verification are missing;
the working conditions, accommodation, or pay level do not match what was stated;
the vacancy violates legal requirements or WORKIUM's rules;
other circumstances that may create risks for candidates are identified during the review.
If we identify inaccuracies during the review or require additional confirmation, we contact the employer for clarification. The vacancy is not published until the review is complete.
After the vacancy is published
The vacancy review does not end after publication. We continue to monitor whether the information remains current, review reports from candidates, and conduct a new review when necessary.
If, after publication, we discover that the information in a vacancy is no longer accurate, the working conditions have changed, the employer is violating the cooperation rules, or confirmed complaints are received, the vacancy may be temporarily hidden until the review is complete or permanently removed from the website.
In some cases, a vacancy may be temporarily hidden while we clarify the information or conduct an additional review. If the violations are not confirmed or the employer corrects the identified issues, the vacancy may be published again.
Every report concerning potentially inaccurate information or violations is reviewed by the WORKIUM team. If the information is confirmed, we take appropriate measures to protect candidates and keep the information on the website up to date.
Yes. Every job vacancy published on WORKIUM is verified before it is listed on the website. We review information about the employer, working and accommodation conditions, and ensure that the vacancy complies with the platform’s requirements. If additional documents or clarifications are required to complete the verification process, the vacancy will not be published until they are provided.
All job vacancies on WORKIUM are verified before publication. If, after a vacancy has been published, you have reasonable concerns about the accuracy of any information, please contact us using any convenient method. We will conduct an additional review and, if necessary, update, temporarily hide, or remove the vacancy.
If you find an error or have reasonable concerns about the accuracy of information published on WORKIUM, please let us know. We review every report and conduct an additional verification when necessary.
For example, you can report:
Every report is reviewed individually. Our specialists verify the provided information and, if necessary, contact the employer or partner to clarify the details. If the reported inaccuracy is confirmed, we promptly update or remove the information from the WORKIUM platform.
Yes. If you do not wish to provide your contact details, you can report an error anonymously. However, if you leave your email address or phone number, we may contact you if additional information is needed to complete the verification.
To help us review your report more quickly, we recommend including a link to the page or job vacancy, a brief description of the issue, and, if possible, supporting materials such as screenshots or photographs.
We review every report as quickly as possible. The time required for verification depends on the complexity of the situation and whether additional information needs to be obtained from the employer or partner.
If you provide your contact details, we may contact you if additional information is needed to complete the verification. However, due to our internal processes and confidentiality requirements, we may not always be able to inform you about the outcome of the verification or any actions taken.
