Who jobs in Opole may suit

Vacancies in simple assembly, packing, warehouse work, and cleaning may be available without Polish work experience if the employer provides training. Technical positions more often require a certificate, the ability to read drawings and use measuring tools, a practical test, or Polish-language skills.

How to compare salary and hours

In 2026, the minimum salary in Poland for full-time employment under an umowa o pracę is 4,806 PLN gross per month. The minimum hourly rate for specified civil-law contracts is 31.40 PLN gross. These are statutory minimums, not the average salary in Opole.

Clarify:

• the gross rate;

• the contract type;

• the guaranteed hours;

• supplements for night work, public holidays, and overtime;

• the bonus conditions;

• all deductions;

• the date of the first payment.

Example: 33 PLN gross × 168 guaranteed hours = 5,544 PLN gross before supplements. A rate of 31.40 PLN for 200 hours gives 6,280 PLN gross, but it is necessary to know whether all hours are guaranteed and how overtime is arranged. The net amount depends on the agreement, taxes, and the employee's status.

If an advertisement states «up to 8,000 PLN», request a calculation of the hours, bonuses, and supplements. The upper limit may include night shifts, overtime, or a bonus subject to additional conditions.

Which schedules employers offer

Manufacturing and warehouse work may involve two or three shifts, 5/2 or 6/1 schedules, and shifts lasting 8–12 hours. In retail, cleaning, and services, the timetable may vary and include weekend work.

Ask for:

• the guaranteed minimum number of hours;

• the times of all shifts;

• the rules for night work;

• overtime payment;

• the length of breaks;

• the date when the schedule is issued;

• transport after the shift.

A ten-hour shift and 60 minutes of travel in each direction mean 12 hours away from the accommodation. With a 6/1 schedule, this is a substantial workload even if the hourly rate is slightly higher.

In food production and logistics, the workload may vary seasonally. Ask for how long the agreement is concluded and how many hours remain after the peak period.

Whether it is possible to work without Polish

Vacancies without fluent Polish are available in simple assembly, packing, warehouses, and some manufacturing operations. However, the employee must understand safety instructions and be able to report a defect, injury, or breakdown.

Check:

• the language used for instructions;

• whether an English-speaking coordinator is available;

• the language used by the scanner and equipment;

• how tasks are assigned;

• the Polish-language requirements for more complex operations.

Polish is more often required in shops, restaurants, hotels, and customer-facing work. In a technical position, it may be necessary for documentation, quality control, and communication with the supervisor.

How to assess accommodation and transport

If the employer offers accommodation, check the full price, address, and transport to the workplace for every shift. The wording «accommodation is provided» does not mean that it is free.

An option that is 400 PLN cheaper may add an hour of travel every day or require taxi journeys. Compare rent, transport, and time together.

If the employer offers accommodation in Opole, separately check the price, address, number of people in the room, deposit, and journey time to work.

What to check before departure
