Work at the Carrefour food warehouse

🧑🏻 Candidates:
Men up to 40 years old.

📍 Location of work:
Poland, Gródków, Zwycięstwa 31 (~20 km from Katowice).

💵 Salary:
- 24,18 zł/hour net for persons over 26 years old;
- 25,35 zł/hour net for persons under 26 years old;
- 31,40 zł/hour net for students under 26 years old (with a student certificate);
- There is a supplement of 0,70 zł/hour net for independent travel to the place of work.

🕐 Work schedule:
- Work 5 - 6 days a week;
- The workday lasts 8 - 10 - 12 hours;
- Work in day and night shifts.

It's important to understand that the number of hours depends on how many orders are at the warehouse. If there are many orders, there will be more work, and thus more hours. If there are fewer orders, correspondingly, there will be slightly fewer hours.

🛠 Responsibilities:
- Collect orders at the warehouse with food products. Work is done with a scanner or voice system, as well as with an electric pallet truck.

🏠 Accommodation:
- Accommodation costs 550 zł per month (the cost is deducted from the salary);
- In case of renting accommodation independently, a supplement of 1,80 zł for each hour of work is provided;
- Accommodation is provided in a private house;
- 2, 3, or 4 persons will live in a room;
- For a family couple, a separate room is provided to ensure comfort and coziness;
- The accommodation has regular comfortable beds.

📌 Additional information:
- Working processes are conducted in motion and standing, depending on the department you get into;
- The warm department maintains room temperature, and in the cool department it ranges from 0 to +5 degrees;
- The warehouse has vending machines with food and drinks, as well as a dining room. Lunches need to be brought with you or you can buy something light in the machines like sandwiches or snacks;
- You need to work with a scanner, voice system, and a pallet truck;
- Forklift certificate costs 250 zł (deducted from the last salary);
- Medical examination costs 100 zł (deducted from the last salary);
- If you work for more than 6 months, the payment for the certificate and medical examination are not deducted;
- An advance is provided after 14 days of work amounting to 300 zł;
- Salary is credited on the 15th of the month to a bank account for the previous worked month.

⏳ Contract term:
At least 3 months of work is required. If you suddenly decide to end work earlier, 1000 zł will be deducted from the last salary.

🧑🏻 Candidates:
Men, women, married couples up to 45 years old.

If you have experience working in similar warehouses and are slightly older than the specified age, this is not an obstacle. Everything can be discussed individually.

📍 Place of work:
Poland, Gródków, Zwycięstwa 31 (~20 km from Katowice).

💵 Salary:
- 25.20 zł/hour net standard rate;
- 32 zł/hour net for students under 26 years old (with student certificate);
- Additional bonuses for good work performance ranging from 200 to 800 zł per month are provided.

🕐 Work schedule:
- Work 6 days a week;
- Working day lasts from 10 to 12 hours, depending on the work volume;
- Shift starts at 06:00, 14:00, or 22:00;
- In the first week, work takes place only on the day shift to make it easier for employees to familiarize themselves with the work processes and go through adaptation. After that, the distribution into three shifts is carried out according to the warehouse work schedule;
- On average 240 hours/month.

It is important to understand that the number of hours depends on how many orders are in the warehouse. If there are a lot of orders, there will be more work, and therefore more hours. If there are fewer orders, consequently, there will be slightly fewer hours.

🛠 Duties:
- It is necessary to complete orders according to requests and prepare them for dispatch. Ready orders must be moved to shipping zones using an electric pallet truck. Work is performed using the Voice Picking system, where all tasks are received as voice commands in Polish. It is also necessary to operate an electric pallet truck and place goods on shelves according to the warehouse system.

🏠 Accommodation:
- Housing costs 600 zł/month (deducted from salary);
- In case of self-renting accommodation, a surcharge of 1.50 zł for each hour worked is provided (surcharge is not available for students);
- Accommodation is provided in a hostel;
- 2 - 3 - 4 people will share a room;
- A separate room is provided for a married couple for comfort and coziness;
- Regular comfortable beds are arranged in housing;
- Transport from housing to the workplace is organized. Everything is thought out for your convenience, so you feel comfortable every day.

📌 Additional information:
- Work processes take place standing and in motion. You need to work with a scanner and use a cart;
- You need to work at the given pace and meet the established productivity norm, for example, process about 120 boxes per hour;
- Work takes place in the dry section of the warehouse, where everyday goods are stored, including household chemicals, food, cosmetics, sweets, snacks, and other products;
- The temperature in the warehouse is +15 degrees Celsius;
- Training and a certificate for operating an electric truck cost 300 zł, which is deducted from the salary after the first month of work;
- Work clothing and footwear are provided free of charge if you work 45 days;
- A sanitary book is issued free of charge if you work 45 days;
- An advance is provided after working 14 days in the amount of 500 zł.
🚍 Free transport is provided from the following location:
- Henryka Sienkiewicza 2, 41-200 Sosnowiec.

⚠️ Penalties:
Absence from work:
- If you do not inform the coordinator about being absent from work, a penalty of 300 zł is charged;
- A penalty is also possible if the absence notice is received on the morning of the shift day without good reason.
Alcohol and discipline:
- Showing up for a shift in a state of inebriation is subject to a penalty of 1500 zł and dismissal;
- If alcohol is consumed in the hostel and it disturbs others, a warning is issued initially;
- If the situation repeats, a penalty of 1500 zł and dismissal follow.
If feeling unwell:
- In case of poor health, you need to see a doctor or call an ambulance;
- It is essential to obtain an L4 certificate and inform the coordinator, so everything can be calmly coordinated, and unpleasant situations are avoided.
