Wałbrzych has vacancies in manufacturing, warehouses, packing, logistics, the food industry, and seasonal work. The same hourly rate does not mean the same earnings: guaranteed hours, schedules, accommodation and transport costs, and the actual workplace address create the difference.
Conditions may change, so check the current schedule, workplace address, and accommodation rules in the vacancy listing. Statutory minimum wage data was checked on August 19, 2026; amounts are gross unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Wałbrzych is in Lower Silesia. Companies operate both in the city and in nearby towns and industrial areas, so a vacancy labelled “Wałbrzych” does not always mean that the workplace is near the centre or accommodation.
Also consider vacancies in Świebodzice, Szczawno-Zdrój, and nearby towns. The key question is not only the distance but whether you can arrive before an early shift and return after an evening one.
Because of the hilly terrain and separated districts, journeys sometimes take longer than the map suggests. A route with transfers may be inconvenient even over a short distance, especially at weekends or at night.
Common areas of work include:
The same job title may conceal different duties. A warehouse worker may pick lightweight orders, move heavy loads, or work in a cold area. A packer may inspect quality or constantly work beside a fast production line.
Before accepting the vacancy, clarify the tasks, maximum lifting weight, temperature and noise, productivity target, bonus conditions, and who pays for the medical examination and work clothes.
If duties are described only as “simple work” or “production assistance”, obtain a more precise written explanation.
There are offers for men, women, couples, inexperienced candidates, and older people. However, labels such as “up to age 65” or “for couples” do not describe the actual workload.
Four factors matter:
A couple needs more than two jobs. Confirm whether shifts coincide, workplaces share one address, and a shared room is provided. Different day and night shifts, shared transport, or distant accommodation may create daily difficulties.
From January 1, 2026, Poland’s minimum monthly salary for full-time work under an employment contract is PLN 4,806 gross. The minimum hourly rate for specified civil-law contracts, including an umowa zlecenie, is PLN 31.40 gross.
Take-home pay depends on the contract, taxes, insurance, age, and personal circumstances. For comparison, guaranteed paid hours matter more than the highest advertised rate.
Vacancy A offers PLN 34 gross per hour and 168 guaranteed hours:
34 × 168 = PLN 5,712 gross.
Vacancy B offers PLN 32 gross per hour and 200 guaranteed hours:
32 × 200 = PLN 6,400 gross.
The second vacancy has a lower rate but guarantees higher earnings. Accommodation, transport, and other deductions must then be included.
“Up to 240 hours per month” means a possible maximum, not a required amount. Written terms should state the hours the employer actually guarantees.
Manufacturing and warehouse work may use 5/2 or 6/1 schedules, two or three shifts, and 8-, 10-, or 12-hour working days. The number of shifts may change with orders, so a verbal promise of constant work does not replace written terms.
When comparing schedules, know the guaranteed shifts, start and finish times, night supplements, overtime rules, whether breaks are paid, notice of schedule changes, and whether extra shifts can be refused.
In Wałbrzych, the shift start often determines whether public transport is practical. A 6:00 a.m. shift may work with a company bus but not if the first city service arrives later. The same applies after 10:00 p.m. or at night.
Employer-provided accommodation may be free, partly paid, or fully deducted from wages. The terms should state the monthly amount, utilities, deposit, room occupancy, and rules after employment ends.
In Wałbrzych, compare the accommodation address with the workplace address.
A room may be in one district and work in another part of the city or outside it. The distance may look acceptable, but the route requires a transfer. The first bus misses the early shift and the last leaves before it ends.
Find a practical solution in advance: company transport, accommodation closer to the workplace, a different shift matching city services, a shared ride, or separate transport for night shifts.
Without a solution, even a free room may be disadvantageous. Daily taxis or several hours of travel quickly cancel the savings.
Before moving in, confirm the accommodation address, price and fees, people per room, workplace address, route for every shift, and company transport conditions.
Inexperienced candidates are often hired for packing, sorting, simple order picking, and repetitive production tasks. Clarify the training duration, trainer, and whether this time is paid.
Jobs without Polish can also be found, but the choice is smaller. Some companies have Ukrainian-speaking coordinators or translated instructions. Confirm the language used for induction, documents, and schedule-change notices.
Even basic Polish helps with safety rules, transport questions, and reporting problems. Do not sign an unclear contract only on the basis of an intermediary’s oral translation.
Before travelling, know the employer’s legal name and contract type. The contracting party may be the company, a temporary employment agency, or another Polish business.
The contract or written confirmation should state the employer’s legal name, contract type, gross or net rate, guaranteed hours, payment deadlines, all deductions, workplace address, termination procedure, and legal basis for work in Poland.
A payment for “reserving a position” without a contract and official company details is a serious risk. Every payment should be justified in writing, and company details must be verifiable.
For a practical comparison, open two or three vacancies and check the same parameters.
For example, vacancy A has a higher rate but only 168 guaranteed hours; vacancy B offers 200 hours but more expensive accommodation; vacancy C pays less but is close to housing and provides night-shift transport.
Compare the final result: guaranteed monthly earnings, accommodation and transport costs, real travel time, schedule and night shifts, duties and workload, contract type, and all deductions.
A missing parameter is not automatically included. If accommodation costs, hours, or the route are absent, obtain them in writing before travelling.
The best vacancy is not necessarily the one with the highest rate, but the one combining guaranteed hours, acceptable workload, a clear contract, and a realistic route for every shift.

Yes. Many employers consider Ukrainian citizens with documents allowing legal work. Availability depends on requirements and current recruitment; check the induction language. When comparing jobs abroad for Ukrainians, confirm all important conditions before buying tickets.
Yes, but assess the duties, lifting weight, temperature, schedule, and night shifts. “For women” does not replace a complete description. Confirm all important conditions before buying tickets.
It is an age-related search filter, not a guarantee of employment. The employer assesses suitability, while the candidate separately checks workload, schedule, and medical restrictions. Confirm the conditions before buying tickets.
People search for such work, but availability depends on the season and recruitment. Clarify the temperature, payment method, target, accommodation, and guaranteed work period. Confirm all conditions before buying tickets.
There is no single amount. Income depends on the contract, rate, guaranteed hours, supplements, and taxes. Calculate gross pay for guaranteed time, then account for accommodation, transport, and other deductions. Ask for a calculation based on a specific schedule.
