In Legnica, you can find vacancies in manufacturing, warehouses, packing, the food industry, and seasonal work. The vacancy title and stated pay rate do not provide a complete picture of the working conditions. Before applying, compare guaranteed hours, the contract, supplements, accommodation, and travel time.
Vacancy conditions may be updated, so check current data in the offer. Statutory minimum wage data was checked on August 19, 2026; amounts are gross unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Legnica is located in the industrial part of Lower Silesia. The city and the nearby Legnica Special Economic Zone offer vacancies in automotive manufacturing, metalworking, logistics, packing, and technical maintenance. A “Legnica” label in an advert does not always mean that the company is within the city, so verify the actual workplace and accommodation addresses. The employee bus schedule should also be known before moving in, as travel time depends on the industrial zone and shift.
One job title may cover different duties. A “warehouse worker” may pick orders with a scanner, move boxes, or work in a chilled area. A “packer” may inspect lightweight goods or spend the whole day beside a fast production line.
Before accepting an offer, confirm:
Misunderstandings after arrival often result from vague descriptions of duties, targets, or working conditions. If the employer cannot clearly describe the tasks before departure, examine the offer more carefully.
Labels such as “for men,” “for women,” or “for couples” do not by themselves explain the working conditions. Before choosing a vacancy, check the specific duties, weight, schedule, and accommodation. Even if the employer accepts candidates up to age 65, assess whether the workload suits your physical condition: shift length, standing work, night schedules, and permitted weight.
Before applying for a vacancy, ask yourself the following questions:
If you are travelling as a couple, ask in writing whether you will work at the same company and whether your shifts will coincide. Different schedules may make shared commuting impossible.
From January 1, 2026, Poland’s minimum monthly salary for full-time work under an employment contract is PLN 4,806 gross. The minimum hourly rate for specified civil-law contracts, including an umowa zlecenie, is PLN 31.40 gross. These are nationwide amounts; there is no separate lower minimum for this city.
Read the rate together with the contract type. The monthly minimum applies to an umowa o pracę, while the minimum hourly rate applies to contracts covered by the relevant legal guarantee, including an umowa zlecenie. Net pay depends on the contract, taxes, insurance, age, and personal circumstances, so a universal take-home amount would be inaccurate.
Hypothetical vacancy A offers PLN 34 gross per hour and guarantees 168 hours. Base gross pay would be:
34 × 168 = PLN 5,712 gross.
Vacancy B offers PLN 32 gross and guarantees 200 hours:
32 × 200 = PLN 6,400 gross.
Although vacancy B has a lower hourly rate, its guaranteed income is higher. The final choice also depends on accommodation, transport, supplements, and whether the 200 hours are confirmed in writing.
Candidates often overestimate expected income by multiplying the maximum rate by “up to 240 hours.” “Up to” is not a guarantee. Ask for written confirmation of the minimum paid hours and an explanation of what determines additional shifts.
Manufacturing and warehouse vacancies may use 5/2 or 6/1 schedules, two or three shifts, and 8-, 10-, or 12-hour workdays. There is no single schedule for all vacancies; it depends on the employer. The exact schedule should be stated in the vacancy or confirmed in writing.
Two offers with the same rate may have different schedules. For comparison, find out:
For example, a shift may end at 10:00 p.m. after the last convenient bus has departed. Even a good rate may lose its value if a taxi is needed after every shift. Check the company address and route before accepting the vacancy, not after moving in.
“Accommodation provided” does not mean that it costs nothing. The employer or agency may deduct a fee from pay, charge utilities separately, or require a deposit. Accommodation costs depend on the specific vacancy, so obtain the exact amount and every additional charge in writing.
Record the accommodation conditions before moving in:
For example, free accommodation 25 km from the company may be less economical than a paid room nearby if transport is not organised for the first option. Consider not only the accommodation cost but also total monthly expenses and travel time.

Some vacancies are available to candidates without experience or without Polish if the employer provides training, clear induction, or assistance from a coordinator. Check the language of the contract, safety rules, and work instructions, and whether training is paid. More such offers are collected on the page for jobs in Poland without language requirements.
Find out in advance who your employer is: a Polish company, a temporary employment agency, or another company. The company named in the vacancy is not always the candidate’s legal employer.
The written terms should state:
A separate risk is a payment “to reserve a place” without a contract, company details, or refund rules. Do not transfer money based only on a messenger message. Verify the legal details, request a written explanation of the payment, and retain all documents.
WORKIUM presents vacancy conditions in a consistent format, making it easier to compare duties, contract type, rate, guaranteed hours, schedule, accommodation, and transport. This helps reveal when paid accommodation, insufficient guaranteed hours, or an inconvenient commute make a high-paying vacancy less attractive. If any information is missing, ask before departure, especially about guaranteed hours, all deductions, and the actual workplace address.
