Work at the Eurocash grocery warehouse

🧑🏻 Candidates:
Men, married couples up to 40 years old.

📍 Place of work:
Poland, Sosnowiec, Logistyczna 5 (~15 km from Katowice).

💵 Salary:
Piecework payment:
- 22.90 - 38 zł/hour net regular rate;
- 31.50 - 41.40 zł/hour net for students up to 26 years old (with student certificate).
Surcharges:
- +4.60 zł gross for working night shifts.

🕐 Work schedule:
- Work 5 - 6 days a week;
- The working day lasts from 8 to 12 hours, depending on workload;
- First shift from 14:00 to 22:00 or from 14:00 to 02:00;
- Second shift from 22:00 to 06:00 or from 22:00 to 10:00.

It is important to understand that the number of hours depends on how many orders are in the warehouse. If there are many orders, there will be more work and therefore more hours. If there are fewer orders, correspondingly, there will be slightly fewer hours.

🛠 Responsibilities:
- It is necessary to move goods in the warehouse using electric carts and assemble orders on pallets for further transportation. Various goods, including food products, may be involved in the work. A necessary permit is issued for operating an electric cart, so all required work documents can be obtained on-site. Order assembly is done using the Voice Picking system — tasks and prompts come through voice in Ukrainian or Russian. Knowledge of the Polish language is not required for this job.

🏠 Accommodation:
- Accommodation costs 500 zł/month (deducted from salary);
- In case of independent accommodation rental, a surcharge of 1.50 zł for each working hour is provided (no surcharge for students);
- Accommodation is provided in a hostel;
- 2 or 3 persons will reside in a room;
- For married couples, a separate room is provided for comfort and coziness;
- The accommodation features regular comfortable beds.

📌 Additional information:
- Work processes involve standing and moving. It is necessary to work with a scanner and use a cart;
- The temperature in the warehouse is +15 degrees;
- Training and certification for operating an electric cart cost 300 zł, which is deducted from salary after the first month of work;
- Transport to the workplace by public transport;
- A transportation allowance of 150 zł is provided;
- Work clothing and footwear are provided for free if you work 45 days;
- A sanitary book is issued free of charge if you work 45 days;
- An advance of 500 zł is provided after 14 days of work.

🔴 Requirements:
- Experience working in warehouses and understanding processes is required.

⚠️ Penalties:
No show at work:
- If you do not inform the coordinator about absence from work, a penalty of 300 zł is imposed;
- A penalty may also be imposed if the absence notification is made the morning of the shift day without a valid reason.
Alcohol and discipline:
- Showing up for a shift in a drunken state incurs a penalty of 1500 zł and dismissal;
- If alcohol is consumed in the hostel and it disturbs others, a warning is first issued;
- If the situation repeats, a penalty of 1500 zł and dismissal.
If you feel unwell:
- In case of poor health, you need to see a doctor or call an ambulance;
- It is necessary to obtain an L4 certificate and inform the coordinator to calmly synchronize everything and avoid unpleasant situations.
