Welcome to WORKIUM! We offer real reviews, genuine working and living conditions, and a cash bonus after the completed work period.
It looks like your criteria are too unique 😊. Adjust the search a bit to discover many jobs with guaranteed rewards!
Płock is a city on the Vistula with one of Poland’s largest industrial and petrochemical clusters. Vacancies regularly open in manufacturing, warehouses, packing, the food industry, and seasonal work. However, a job title and hourly rate alone do not reveal the real working conditions. It is more important to compare guaranteed hours, the contract type, supplements, accommodation, and the daily route to the workplace.
Assess offers using the same criteria, not only the rate. Statutory minimum wage data was checked on August 19, 2026; all amounts are gross unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Płock is one of the largest industrial centres in the Masovian Voivodeship. Jobs are most often offered in manufacturing, logistics, packing, warehouses, and technical occupations. Some companies are located within the city, while others operate in industrial zones or on the outskirts. As a result, the workplace address and travel time may affect comfort as much as the pay.
Before departure, check whether the schedule, guaranteed hours, or workplace has changed.
The same job title may cover very different duties. For example, a “warehouse worker” may pick orders with a scanner, handle heavy boxes, or work in a chilled area. A “packer” may pack finished goods by hand or work beside a fast production line where a set pace must be maintained.
Before applying, confirm:
Most misunderstandings concern details omitted from a short vacancy description. If the employer or agency cannot clearly explain the duties before departure, examine the offer more carefully.
The city has vacancies for men, women, couples, and older candidates. The real job requirements matter more than labels in an advertisement. A search for “jobs in Płock up to age 65” does not mean that every vacancy will be equally comfortable or safe.
Before applying, answer several questions:
If you plan to work with a partner, do not rely only on the phrase “for couples.” Ask in writing whether you will work at the same company, whether your shifts will coincide, and whether shared accommodation is provided.
From January 1, 2026, Poland’s minimum monthly salary for full-time work under an employment contract is PLN 4,806 gross. The minimum hourly rate for specified civil-law contracts, including an umowa zlecenie, is PLN 31.40 gross. These are nationwide amounts; there is no separate lower minimum for Płock.
When comparing vacancies, do not focus only on the hourly rate. The contract type, guaranteed number of hours, and additional payments all matter. Final take-home pay depends on the contract, taxes, insurance, age, and other personal factors, so there is no universal net amount.
Vacancy A offers PLN 34 gross per hour and guarantees 168 hours of work.
Base gross pay:
34 × 168 = PLN 5,712 gross.
Vacancy B offers PLN 32 gross and guarantees 200 hours.
Base gross pay:
32 × 200 = PLN 6,400 gross.
Despite the lower hourly rate, the second vacancy provides higher guaranteed earnings. Make a final choice only after comparing accommodation, transport, supplements, and the number of hours confirmed in writing.
A common mistake is to multiply the maximum rate by “up to 240 hours.” “Up to” does not guarantee the actual workload. Ask for written confirmation of the minimum paid hours and the overtime calculation rules.
Manufacturing and warehouse vacancies may use 5/2 or 6/1 schedules, two- or three-shift systems, and 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. These are only the most common examples. The vacancy should clearly state the schedule, or the employer should confirm it in writing.
When comparing offers, check:
This is particularly important in Płock. Companies may operate both within the city and on its outskirts, so check the exact commute before departure. If a shift starts very early or ends late, confirm whether public transport runs at the required time or an employee shuttle is provided.
“Accommodation provided” does not necessarily mean free accommodation. Its cost may be deducted from pay, utilities may be charged separately, or a deposit may apply. There is no single amount for all vacancies in Płock, so obtain every condition in writing.
Before moving in, confirm:
Free accommodation 25 km from the company may be less economical than a room near work if the commute costs time and money every day. Assess all monthly expenses together, not only the room charge.
This article treats accommodation as one condition of a specific vacancy in Płock. If employer-provided housing is your main criterion, browse the separate category of jobs with accommodation.
Jobs in packing, sorting, simple order picking, or repetitive manufacturing operations are often open to inexperienced candidates. However, no experience does not mean no training. Ask how long the induction lasts, whether it is paid, and who provides it.
Some vacancies are also available without Polish when a Ukrainian-speaking coordinator works at the company or the instructions are translated. Language skills nevertheless make communication, safety rules, and workplace issues easier to handle.
Before signing a contract, confirm:
If you do not understand the document, do not rush to sign. Ask for a copy of the contract and time to review it.
Before completing paperwork, verify who your employer is: a Polish company, a temporary employment agency, or another legal entity. The vacancy or brand name does not always match the name of the company signing the contract.
The contract or written offer should state:
Be cautious about requests to transfer money “to reserve a place” when there is no contract, company information, or written refund policy. First verify the employer’s legal details, request a written explanation of the payment, and retain all documents.
WORKIUM lets you compare vacancies using the same criteria: duties, contract type, rate, guaranteed hours, schedule, accommodation, and transport. This makes it easier to compare offers and understand their real differences.
It also makes the comparison faster. If information is missing, request it before departure. Guaranteed hours, all possible deductions, the workplace address, and transport arrangements are especially important.
To choose a suitable vacancy:
Go to the WORKIUM catalogue and compare current jobs in Płock and other Polish cities by pay, schedule, contract, accommodation, and commuting. If a condition is missing from the description, confirm it before applying and buying tickets.
Among jobs in Płock, start with vacancies that provide on-site training, such as packing, sorting, and simple warehouse or production operations. Conditions differ, so confirm the physical workload, targets, and whether training is paid. Confirm every important condition before buying tickets.
Yes. Many employers offer jobs abroad for Ukrainians who have documents permitting legal work. Availability depends on the employer’s requirements and current recruitment; also check the language used for induction before applying. Confirm every important condition before buying tickets.
Yes, but assess the specific duties, weight, temperature, schedule, and night shifts. A “for women” label does not replace a complete description of the conditions. Confirm every important condition for the specific vacancy before buying tickets.
It is only a way to formulate a search query, not a guarantee of employment. The employer assesses whether the candidate meets the role requirements, while the candidate should separately check the workload, schedule, and medical restrictions. Confirm every important condition before buying tickets.
People search for such jobs, but their availability depends on the season and current recruitment. Confirm the temperature, payment method, targets, accommodation, and guaranteed employment period. Confirm every important condition for the specific vacancy before buying tickets.
There is no single amount. Income depends on the contract, rate, guaranteed hours, supplements, and taxes. For comparison, calculate gross pay for the guaranteed hours and then include accommodation, transport, and other possible deductions. Request a calculation for the specific schedule and a written list of all deductions.
Such schedules occur in some manufacturing and warehouse vacancies but are not the rule throughout the city. Ask whether a 12-hour shift is mandatory, how many breaks are provided, and how hours above the regular limit are paid. Confirm the exact start and finish times and check transport for early and late shifts.
