Work at Lambertz Confectionery Production

🧑🏻 Candidates:
Men, women, families up to 63 years old.

📍 Work Location:
Poland, Katowice, Bażantów 1.

💵 Salary:
- 26 zł/hour net regular rate;
- 33,40 zł/hour net for students up to 26 years old (with a student ID);
- If working more than 48 hours a week, a +25% is added to the basic hourly rate.

Note: 
Only student IDs issued by Polish educational institutions are accepted.

🕐 Work Schedule:
- Work 5 - 6 days a week;
- The work day lasts 12 hours;
- First shift from 06:00 to 18:00;
- Second shift from 18:00 to 06:00;
- Three breaks are scheduled during the workday, lasting 10 - 15 minutes each, for rest and recharging;
- On average 260 hours/month.

It is important to understand that the number of hours depends on the number of orders at the confectionery factory. If there are many orders, there will be more work and, accordingly, more hours. If there are fewer orders, then the hours will also be slightly fewer.

🛠 Duties:
For women:
- The work is easy and straightforward. You will be involved in the production of cookies and candies. You need to sit by the conveyor and place the cookies into plastic containers that move along the belt. Lines operate at different speeds, but you quickly get used to it. After packing, you just need to check that everything is neatly arranged and without defects, and at the end, the cookies are placed in boxes for shipping.
For men:
- You need to perform simple tasks with boxes, removing them with cookies from pallets and supplying them to the line where women work. Then close the boxes with finished cookies, stack them on pallets, and prepare them for dispatch. You deliver the finished products to the warehouse, and bring new boxes with cookies for further packaging.

🏠 Accommodation:
- Housing costs 700 zł/month (deducted from the salary);
- In case of self-renting accommodation, there is an allowance of 2 zł for each working hour (allowance not provided for students);
- Accommodation is provided in a house, apartment, or hostel;
- 3 or 4 people will live in a room;
- Regular comfortable beds are arranged in the accommodation;
- Housing is located variously, some within walking distance, and for those further away, convenient transportation is organized.

Check-in depends on the availability of free places, so unfortunately, there is no possibility to choose specific housing. The final decision depends on the occupancy of the accommodation at the time of your arrival.

📌 Additional Information:
- The weight of one box of cookies is up to 3 kilograms;
- The temperature at the enterprise is +19 - +20 degrees;
- There are different processes both sitting and standing. Before the start of a shift, the distribution of workers takes place, so it is not possible to choose only one process and work there constantly;
- The work processes take place on a conveyor line;
- Lunch should be brought with you, there is a kitchen where you can heat food, as well as machines with coffee and various drinks;
- Transportation to the work location from the accommodation is provided, costing 100 zł (deducted from the salary);
- The enterprise has strict norms that must be adhered to for the continuous operation of the packaging line. The norm applies to the entire line, meaning everyone works together as one team. If something is suddenly moving slowly, the conveyor can be sped up a bit to catch up;
- Due to sanitary requirements, work is only allowed without jewelry, piercings, false eyelashes, nails, and manicure. This is a mandatory condition for maintaining hygiene in production;
- Work clothing and footwear are provided free of charge. If you work less than 45 days, then 200 zł is deducted from your salary;
- Sanitary book is issued for free. If you work less than 45 days, then 150 zł is deducted from your salary;
- An advance is provided after 14 days of working in the amount of 500 zł.

⚠️ Penalties:
No-show at work:
- If the coordinator is not informed about the absence from work, a fine of 300 zł is charged;
- A fine is also possible if the absence notification is received in the morning on the day of the shift without a valid reason.
Alcohol and discipline:
- Showing up intoxicated for a shift is subject to a fine of 1500 zł and dismissal;
- If alcohol is consumed in the hostel and it disturbs others, a warning is issued initially;
- If the situation repeats, a 1500 zł fine and dismissal.
If feeling unwell:
- In case of poor health, you should see a doctor or call an ambulance;
- It is mandatory to obtain an L4 certificate and inform the coordinator, so everything can be arranged calmly and unpleasant situations avoided.

✅ Advantages:
- Work experience and knowledge of the Polish language are not required;
- The job is simple, understandable, and everything is taught on site;
- Assistance is provided in obtaining a residence card.
