Welcome to WORKIUM! We offer real reviews, genuine working and living conditions, and a cash bonus after the completed work period.
It looks like your criteria are too unique 😊. Adjust the search a bit to discover many jobs with guaranteed rewards!
Work in Liberec may involve the production of automotive components and plastics, textile and assembly processes, quality control, warehouses, and logistics. Knowing only the job title and rate is not enough to assess a vacancy.
The specific operation, repeated movements, temperature, noise, odours, ventilation, schedule, guaranteed hours, exact address, and method of travel should all be clarified. Two vacancies with the same pay may differ in workload and the actual amount of time spent away from home.
The material was updated on 29 July 2026. Availability, rates, and requirements should be confirmed in the current vacancy listing.

Vacancies may appear in Liberec and nearby towns in component manufacturing, plastics moulding and processing, assembly, quality control, packing, logistics, and warehouses. The current range changes according to employers' needs.
Possible operations include:
assembling parts;
visual inspection;
trimming production residue;
packing and labelling;
working with hand tools;
preparing materials;
order picking with a scanner;
moving containers;
preparing products for dispatch.
The same job title may conceal different duties. An operator may fit components, inspect the surface of a product, operate a simple section of equipment, or pack finished parts.
Before applying, ask for the work cycle to be described:
which part the employee receives;
which action is performed;
how long the cycle lasts;
how much weight must be moved;
how often the movement is repeated;
what is considered a defect;
whether there is rotation between operations.
Example. A component weighs 450 g and the operation repeats every 20 seconds. That is up to 180 cycles per hour. This calculation is not the target for a specific vacancy, but it shows why movement frequency matters as much as weight.
Before publishing a vacancy, the WORKIUM team checks whether the duties, rate, schedule, address, transport, and accommodation, where offered, are described clearly. Unclear conditions should be clarified before travelling.
General employment rules, documents, and legal conditions are explained on the work in the Czech Republic page. This page focuses specifically on vacancies in Liberec.
The product name alone does not show how demanding the work will be. A plastic part may be lightweight but hot after processing; a textile product may be light but require fast and precise movements; a finished component may be small but require the use of tools.
Clarify:
whether the work is performed standing or seated;
how many repetitions are expected per hour;
whether bending or reaching is required;
whether there are sharp edges or hot surfaces;
whether a knife or tool is used;
how long the employee remains in one posture;
how often the operation changes.
Typical situation. The part is light, but every 15 seconds the employee picks it up, turns it, inspects it, and trims the edge. That is up to 240 repetitions per hour. Low weight does not eliminate strain on the hands, shoulders, and back.
Another vacancy may involve 8 kg boxes moved several times during a shift with the help of a trolley. Weight, frequency, and a description of the movement are all needed to compare the processes.
Request a short video of the operation without personal data or a written description. Phrases such as «simple assembly» or «light work» should not replace specific parameters.
The working environment affects wellbeing as much as the schedule. Temperature, noise level, material odours, ventilation, and protective equipment requirements may differ between workshops.
Before accepting a vacancy, clarify:
the temperature in the work area;
whether equipment creates local heat;
whether material odours are noticeable;
how the ventilation works;
whether hearing protection is required;
which gloves, safety glasses, and footwear are provided;
who pays for replacement work clothing;
whether separate breaks are provided for work in demanding conditions.
Practical example. A vacancy states «work with plastic parts». This does not explain whether the part arrives cooled, whether it must be handled immediately after moulding, or whether there are odours and local heat.
Ask which protective equipment is provided and how the safety briefing is conducted. If the employee must purchase footwear or clothing independently, clarify the requirements and any reimbursement before the first shift.
To understand the target, it is necessary to know what is counted: parts, products, boxes, orders, or operations. The phrase «the target will be explained on site» does not help assess the vacancy.
Ask:
how many units are expected per hour;
whether the target changes during the shift;
how many shifts the training lasts;
from which day full productivity is expected;
who supports the new employee;
how technical stoppages are taken into account;
whether defects affect the bonus.
Adaptation example. During the first two shifts, the employee performs the operation with a mentor; during the next three, independently at a training pace; and the full target applies from the sixth shift. This is only a model for clarification, not a statement about a specific employer.
Check whether training is paid and whether the rate differs. Written confirmation should preferably be obtained before starting.
If operations rotate, find out how often rotation takes place and whether every workstation has the same target and pay.
In the Czech Republic, standard working time is 40 hours per week. The limit is 38.75 hours for a two-shift system and 37.5 hours for a three-shift or continuous system. One shift should not exceed 12 hours.
Request an example of an actual week and check:
the start and finish times of the shifts;
the rotation pattern;
whether night work is included;
the guaranteed hours;
the length of breaks;
how working time is recorded;
payment for training;
the rules for additional shifts.
From 1 January to 31 December 2026, the minimum wage in the Czech Republic for a standard 40-hour week is 22,400 CZK gross per month or 134.40 CZK gross per hour. This is the statutory minimum, not the typical rate for every vacancy in Liberec.
Compare gross with gross or net with net. For an initial calculation, use:
rate × guaranteed hours + guaranteed supplements − confirmed expenses.
Illustrative example. 170 CZK gross × 160 guaranteed hours = 27,200 CZK gross before supplements. A vacancy with a rate of 162 CZK and 180 hours gives 29,160 CZK gross. A higher rate does not always mean higher guaranteed income.
Night work in the Czech Republic carries a supplement of at least 10% of average earnings; work on Saturday and Sunday also carries a supplement of at least 10%. For overtime, the employee receives ordinary pay plus a supplement of at least 25%, unless the parties agree on compensatory time off.
Include a bonus of «up to 2,000 CZK» only after the conditions have been explained. It may depend on attendance, productivity, quality, or the number of defects.
The name «Liberec» in the headline does not guarantee that the company is located in the city centre. The vacancy may concern Liberec itself, an industrial zone on the outskirts, or a nearby town in the Liberec Region. The city name alone is therefore insufficient: the exact company address is required before accepting the work.
Before applying, obtain:
the full address;
the pick-up point for the company bus;
the timetable for each shift;
the coordinator's contact details;
the route from the stop to the gate;
the return arrangements after a delay.
Plan the route for the actual shift time. A route that works during the day does not guarantee that the same transport can reach the workplace by 6:00 or return after 22:00.
Example. During the day, the journey takes 35 minutes, but the first service on the final section arrives after the morning shift begins. A company bus, different accommodation, or a different schedule is required.
When choosing a vacancy, assess not only the journey time but also the number of transfers and a backup route. Save the address, pick-up point, and coordinator's contact details offline.
An employment agreement in the Czech Republic must be in writing. The employee should receive their own copy before starting work.
Compare the agreement with the vacancy:
the employer's name;
the type of work;
the workplace;
the start date;
the gross or net rate;
working time;
agreed deductions.
If the actual work is performed at another company's premises, clarify who is listed as the employer, who pays the salary, and who is responsible for employment matters.
Risk situation. Before the first shift, the candidate is informed of a different address, operation, or rate. The new conditions should be confirmed in writing before starting.
Do not hand over the original passport to an unauthorised person or pay money solely for the promise of a vacancy. Check the company, manager's contact details, workplace, and agreement type.
Compare offers using the same criteria:
the specific operation;
working posture and repeated movements;
temperature, noise, and ventilation;
maximum weight;
the target and adaptation period;
the schedule and guaranteed hours;
the gross or net rate;
supplements, bonuses, and deductions;
the address and transport;
the agreement type and employer.
If one parameter is missing, mark it as unconfirmed and do not use it in the calculation.
Example. Vacancy A has a rate of 175 CZK, 160 guaranteed hours, a warm work area, and two transfers. Vacancy B offers 165 CZK, 180 hours, a stable temperature, and a direct company bus. The decision should be made after assessing income, working conditions, and the actual amount of time the working day will take, including travel.
Pages on accommodation, work without language skills, vacancies for specific candidate categories, occupations, and employers cover their own subjects in detail. This article focuses on general work in Liberec.
These may include jobs in component manufacturing, plastics processing, assembly, quality inspection, packing, warehousing, and logistics. The current selection depends on the vacancies available.
Some positions include on-the-job training. Check how long the training period lasts, whether training shifts are paid, and on which day you are expected to transition to the full productivity target.
For a standard 40-hour workweek, the minimum wage is CZK 22,400 gross per month or CZK 134.40 gross per hour. Ask for a calculation based on your specific work schedule and a written breakdown of all deductions.
Ask about the temperature, noise level, odors, ventilation, personal protective equipment, and break schedule. If possible, request a video of the work area that does not contain any personal data. Also ask in advance which language will be used for the safety briefing and for explaining daily work tasks.
Yes. The employee should receive their own copy before starting work and verify the employer, the type of work, the workplace, and the start date. Also ask in advance which language will be used for the safety briefing and for explaining daily work tasks.
No. A vacancy may list Liberec as the nearest major city, while the actual workplace is located on the outskirts or in another municipality within the Liberec Region. Check the full workplace address and the route for every shift. Ask for the exact address and verify the route from your accommodation for each shift.
