Work in Kladno includes vacancies in manufacturing, warehouses, logistics, and support production areas. To compare vacancies, it is necessary to know not only the rate but also the specific duties, pace, schedule, guaranteed hours, exact address, and route for each shift.
A vacancy may be labelled «Kladno» even though the company itself is located near the city. The workplace may be in Kladno, on the outskirts, or in a nearby town in the Central Bohemian Region. The address and transport should therefore be checked before accepting the vacancy.
The material was updated on 29 July 2026. Statutory amounts are stated as gross unless expressly indicated otherwise.

View vacancies in Kladno
Vacancies may appear in Kladno and nearby towns in manufacturing, warehouses, logistics, packing, order picking, quality control, and support services. The current range depends on employers' open offers.
Possible operations include:
assembling parts;
visual inspection;
packing and labelling;
order picking with a scanner;
preparing materials;
moving containers;
operating a simple production area;
preparing products for dispatch.
The same job title may refer to different work. An «operator» may place a component into a mould, inspect a product, record the number of finished units, or pack goods.
Before publishing a vacancy, the WORKIUM team checks whether it contains a clear description of the duties, rate, schedule, address, transport, and accommodation where offered. If any information is missing, clarify it before travelling.
Practical example. Two vacancies state «packing». At the first workstation, the employee places lightweight products into boxes while seated; at the second, they stand beside a conveyor, check the labelling, and move filled containers. The title is the same, but the pace and workload are different.
General employment rules, documents, and legal conditions are explained on the work in the Czech Republic page. This material concerns local work in Kladno specifically.
Ask for the entire work process to be shown or explained: which material or product the employee receives, which action is performed, how long it lasts, and what happens to the finished unit.
Clarify:
whether the work is performed standing or seated;
whether bending or reaching is required;
the maximum weight;
how often the movement is repeated;
whether a knife or tool is used;
what is considered a defect;
whether there is rotation between operations;
which protective equipment is provided.
Phrases such as «light work», «simple assembly», or «support operations» do not explain the actual conditions on their own. Request a written description or a short video of the work area without personal data.
Example. A part weighs 600 g, but the employee picks it up, turns it, inspects it, and puts it aside every 15 seconds. That is up to 240 cycles per hour. This calculation is not the target for a specific vacancy, but it shows why movement frequency matters as much as weight.
A target can be assessed only when it is clear how it is measured: in parts, products, boxes, orders, or completed operations.
Ask:
how many units are expected per hour;
whether the target changes during the shift;
from which day the full pace applies;
how technical stoppages are taken into account;
whether defects affect the bonus;
how often the operation changes;
who supports the new employee.
Illustrative scenario. During the first two shifts, the employee performs the operation with a mentor; during the next three, independently at a training pace; and the full target applies from the sixth shift. This is a model for clarification, not a statement about a specific employer.
Also clarify the maximum weight and lifting frequency. An 8 kg box moved twice during a shift with a trolley and the same box lifted every five minutes create different workloads.
In the Czech Republic, standard working time is 40 hours per week. It is 38.75 hours for a two-shift system and 37.5 hours for a three-shift or continuous system. One shift should not exceed 12 hours.
Request an example of an actual working week and check:
the start and finish times of the shifts;
the rotation pattern;
the length of breaks;
the number of guaranteed hours;
the rules for additional shifts;
how working time is recorded;
payment for training and downtime.
From 1 January to 31 December 2026, the minimum wage in the Czech Republic for a standard 40-hour week is 22,400 CZK gross per month or 134.40 CZK gross per hour. This is the statutory minimum, not the typical rate for every vacancy in Kladno.
For a preliminary income calculation, use:
rate × guaranteed hours + guaranteed supplements − confirmed expenses.
Illustrative example. 170 CZK gross × 160 guaranteed hours = 27,200 CZK gross before supplements. Another vacancy with a rate of 162 CZK and 180 hours gives 29,160 CZK gross. A higher rate does not always mean higher guaranteed income.
Night work in the Czech Republic carries a supplement of at least 10% of average earnings; work on Saturday and Sunday also carries a supplement of at least 10%. For overtime, the employee receives ordinary pay plus a supplement of at least 25%, unless the parties agree on compensatory time off.
Include a bonus of «up to 2,000 CZK» only when it is clear what it is paid for. It may depend on attendance, productivity, quality, or the number of defects.
The full address matters more than the city name in the headline. The workplace may be in Kladno, in an industrial zone, or outside the city.
Before applying, request:
the full company address;
the name or number of the stop;
the pick-up point for the company bus;
the timetable for each shift;
the route from the stop to the gate;
the coordinator's contact details;
the return arrangements after a delay.
Check the route for the actual start and finish time of the shift. An option available during the day may not operate at 5:00 or after 22:00.
Example. The journey takes 35 minutes during the day, but the first service on the final section arrives after the morning shift begins. A company bus, different accommodation, or a different schedule is required.
If the candidate plans to travel from Prague or another city, calculate the entire route from the door to the gate, the number of transfers, and the required time buffer. The distance on the map alone does not show whether an early or night shift is realistically accessible.
Before starting work, find out:
who conducts the safety briefing;
how many shifts the training lasts;
whether the training period is paid;
who demonstrates the operation;
from which day the full target is expected;
how to report a fault or defect;
where work clothing is issued;
whom to ask questions during the shift.
Training example. On the first day, the employee receives instruction and becomes familiar with the work area; during the next two shifts, they work with a mentor; and then they move to independent work. This is not the procedure for a specific vacancy — the actual conditions should be obtained from the employer.
If the employer cannot explain payment for the first shifts, the training procedure, or identify the responsible mentor, request written clarification before starting.
An employment agreement in the Czech Republic must be in writing, and the employee should receive their own copy before starting work.
Compare the agreement with the vacancy:
the employer's name;
the type of work;
the workplace;
the start date;
the gross or net rate;
working time;
the probationary period;
agreed deductions.
If the work is performed at the premises of an agency client, clarify who the employer is, who pays the salary, and to whom documents or requests should be submitted.
Risk situation. Before the first shift, the candidate is informed of a different address, operation, or rate. Do not accept the change until the new conditions have been confirmed in writing. Do not hand over the original passport to an unauthorised person or pay solely for a promise of work.
Compare vacancies using the same criteria:
the specific operation;
working posture and repeated movements;
maximum weight;
the target and training;
the schedule and guaranteed hours;
the gross or net rate;
guaranteed supplements;
the bonus conditions;
the address and transport;
the agreement type and employer.
If any information has not been confirmed in writing, do not include it in the comparison.
Example. Vacancy A: 175 CZK gross, 160 guaranteed hours, two transfers, and an unknown bonus condition. Vacancy B: 166 CZK gross, 180 hours, a direct company bus, and training described in writing. Assess guaranteed income, workload, travel, and the predictability of the conditions rather than one rate figure.
Questions about work for Ukrainians, accommodation, work without language skills, specific candidate categories, occupations, or individual employers are covered in separate materials. This page focuses specifically on choosing work in Kladno.
The selection depends on which employers are currently hiring. Before applying, look beyond the job title and check the duties, work schedule, physical workload, workplace address, and contract terms. Two vacancies with the same title may differ significantly in work pace and actual pay.
Such positions are available, especially in warehousing, manufacturing, packing, and general support roles. However, they may require willingness to work shifts, physical stamina, or the ability to use a scanner. Ask how the training is organized, how long it lasts, and what pay rate applies during the training period.
Ask for the guaranteed pay rate and the minimum number of working hours. Add only confirmed bonuses or allowances, then subtract the cost of accommodation, transportation, and any other deductions. The maximum amount shown in a job advertisement is not guaranteed pay unless the employer has clearly explained the conditions required to receive it.
Find out the exact start and finish time for each shift, the number of working days, the length of breaks, and how new schedules are communicated. Also check transportation options for early and late shifts. A long commute can significantly increase the actual length of your working day.
Ask for the exact address, recent photos, the full cost, the number of people sharing the room, and information about the security deposit. Check whether utility bills are included and how long the commute to work takes. A listing that says “accommodation provided” does not necessarily mean the accommodation is free.
Before buying your ticket, obtain written confirmation of the job title, duties, workplace address, contract type, pay rate, guaranteed working hours, work schedule, accommodation, transportation, and all deductions. Also save the contact details of the coordinator who will be responsible for your arrival and your first working day.
