Jobs in Warsaw with accommodation are suitable for people who want employment and organised housing within one offer. However, the label «accommodation provided» does not explain whether it is free, how many people will live in the room, how far the workplace is located, or how much may be deducted from the salary for accommodation.
On WORKIUM, different vacancy options may show the price, accommodation photographs, and differences in transport arrangements. The examples are current as of July 2026. Prices and availability change, so the conditions of the offer should be checked again before travelling and confirmed in writing.
What a job with accommodation in Warsaw means
How much accommodation may cost
How accommodation conditions may differ
What to check in the room and building
How to assess the commute to work
Free accommodation or a higher salary
What to ask before booking a vacancy
What to do if the conditions differ after arrival
In a vacancy with accommodation, the employer or agency arranges a place to live for the period of employment. This may be a room in a house, apartment, dormitory, or hostel. Organised accommodation does not necessarily belong to the employer and is not necessarily free.
The most important distinction — is between the phrases «accommodation provided» and «accommodation paid for by the employer». In the first case, the cost may be deducted from the salary every month. Separate charges may also apply for utilities, a deposit, cleaning, bedding, or transport.
Before travelling, it is important to check not only whether accommodation is available but also its price, check-in conditions, photographs, and the commute to work.
Offers available in July 2026 included accommodation costing 300, 450, 500, 600, 620, 720, and 790 PLN per month. These are actual amounts from individual offers, not an average price for all of Poland. The cost depends on the standard, number of people in the room, and transport arrangements.
Compare expenses using the same format:
accommodation + utilities + transport + the deposit divided by the planned period of employment.
For example, accommodation costing 450 PLN per month with a free transfer may be better value than a room costing 300 PLN if the second option requires daily travel at your own expense. Conversely, more expensive accommodation next to the workplace may save several hours each week.
Do not deduct the accommodation price from the gross amount. First determine the expected net payment, and only then calculate the amount remaining after accommodation, transport, and additional charges.
Even similar vacancies may have different accommodation prices, transport arrangements, and check-in rules. One offer included options costing 450, 600, and 620 PLN per month. Other offers listed 300, 600, and 720 PLN per month, and photographs were added to the descriptions.
These amounts may differ in other vacancies, so check the specific offer. The same employer name does not guarantee the same address, room, or route.
Before travelling, check:
the expected net payment;
the full monthly accommodation cost;
the number of people in the room;
the commuting time and cost;
the check-in, relocation, and eviction rules.
The number of people in a room may vary: vacancy cards listed options for 2 people, 3–4 people, 5–8 people, and a separate room for a couple. These provide different levels of privacy, so the phrase «comfortable accommodation» is insufficient without a specific number.
Ask for current photographs of the exact property where you are expected to stay. General photographs showing an «example of accommodation» do not confirm a specific address. In the photographs, check:
the number of beds in the room;
wardrobes or other storage space;
the condition of the kitchen and bathroom;
the washing machine and refrigerator;
heating, windows, and ventilation;
internet access;
the number of residents sharing one bathroom.
If a separate room is important to you, this condition must be confirmed in writing. «We accommodate couples together» may mean two places in one room shared with other residents rather than a separate room.
Also clarify the house rules: whether guests are allowed, when quiet hours apply, who is responsible for cleaning, whether smoking is permitted, whether there is a penalty for losing a key, and how faults should be reported. These details most often become a source of conflict after check-in.
An accommodation address without the workplace address does not provide the full picture. Ask to see both locations on a map and have the route explained for each shift. A daytime bus may not operate at four in the morning or after a night shift ends.
Check:
how many minutes the journey takes in one direction;
whether a free company bus is available;
where the stop is located;
who pays for the travel pass or fuel;
what happens if the shift finishes later;
whether it is safe to walk;
whether the route operates at weekends.
Example: 45 minutes in one direction — is approximately 7.5 hours of travel over five working days. This time is not reflected in the hourly rate, but it directly affects the workload. If the transfer is paid, its monthly cost should be added to the accommodation price.
Free accommodation does not always mean better conditions. Its cost may be reflected in a lower rate, and free housing may sometimes apply only after a full month has been worked or a set number of hours has been completed. Compare the rate, guaranteed hours, accommodation, and transport together.
Ask whether the accommodation cost must be repaid in the event of early resignation, whether it remains covered during sick leave, and how many days you may stay after the employment ends. Where the answer is absent from the contract or appendix, do not treat a verbal promise as a guarantee.
Before buying a ticket, obtain written answers:
What is the exact address or locality of the accommodation?
How much does one month cost, and what is included?
Is there a deposit, and when is it refunded?
How many people will live in the room and building?
Do the photographs show the future accommodation?
How many bathrooms and kitchens are available to residents?
How is transport arranged for early and night shifts?
When and how is the payment deducted?
What happens to the accommodation if the vacancy changes or the employment ends?
Who provides assistance if a problem arises after arrival?
Save the vacancy card, photographs, and correspondence before moving in. This will allow you to compare the agreed conditions with the actual conditions and explain precisely to the coordinator what is different.
Review vacancies in Poland with accommodation where the cost, living conditions, and photographs are provided.
First document the discrepancy: take photographs, record the address, and save the messages containing the promised conditions. Then contact the coordinator immediately and state a specific request — for example, to confirm the price, provide the agreed number of places, or explain the relocation timeframe.
Do not wait until the first salary payment if you are given a different price, more people are accommodated, or the city is changed. The earlier the issue is documented, the easier it is to verify the agreement. Do not sign a new document without reading the provisions on accommodation and deductions.
Compare not only the rate but also the full accommodation cost, number of residents, photographs, and commute. Choose a vacancy when it is clear where you will live, how much you will pay, and who will assist after check-in.
The job conditions and accommodation details should be described separately. Ask for the workplace address, the accommodation address, the accommodation cost, the number of people sharing the room, the amount of the security deposit, and information about transportation. The words “Warsaw” and “accommodation provided” do not tell you where you will actually live or how long your daily commute will take.
Plan the route for each work shift. Public transportation may operate differently in the early morning, late at night, and on weekends than it does during the day. If a company shuttle is available, ask for the exact pickup location and schedule. It is important to know not only how long the journey takes, but also whether you will be able to get back home after a late shift.
Yes, but it depends on the specific job vacancy. Even if the accommodation is described as free, ask whether you will need to pay for utilities, a security deposit, cleaning, or transportation. In some cases, there is no separate accommodation charge, but the employee receives a lower pay rate or has other deductions from their wages. Compare the entire job offer, not just the word “free.”
Ask for up-to-date photos of the exact room you are expected to move into. Find out how many people will be sharing the accommodation with you and whether there is a kitchen, a washing machine, and proper access to bathroom facilities. Clarify the accommodation rules, the timeframe for the return of the security deposit, and the contact details of the person responsible for handling maintenance issues.
It depends on the conditions of the specific job vacancy. Ask whether your pay rate will remain the same, whether you will have to pay for accommodation that has already been reserved for you, and whether transportation is available for employees who arrange their own accommodation. Before renting your own room, check the route to the workplace and the start time of your shift. Cheaper accommodation may turn out to be less practical if it involves a long daily commute.
Take photos, write down the exact address, and compare the actual conditions with what you were originally promised. Notify your coordinator in writing and request a specific solution, such as a different room, repairs to resolve the issue, or a review of the accommodation charges. Do not agree to any additional payments that were not included in the original terms unless you receive a clear explanation and supporting documentation.
