Work in Warsaw for women is not a separate type of employment, but a selection of vacancies with different duties, pace, and physical demands. The label «for women» does not explain whether the employee must work standing, lift boxes, meet a target, or work night shifts.
In Warsaw, the location must also be checked carefully. The company may be within the city or in the wider urban area, and the journey from the accommodation can sometimes take longer than the description suggests. It is therefore better to compare exact duties, product weight, schedule, address, and the route for the required shift rather than general promises.
The information was checked on 29 July 2026. Current recruitment, rates, and requirements depend on the specific vacancy.

View vacancies in Warsaw for women
In Warsaw and the wider urban area, female candidates may consider work in warehouses, logistics, packing, quality control, manufacturing, cleaning, and other sectors. Some positions include training on site, while others require experience, Polish-language skills, or a certain working speed.
Typical processes:
packing and repacking goods;
sorting and labelling;
checking returned goods;
picking orders with a scanner;
quality control against a sample;
working on a production line;
preparing products for dispatch;
cleaning premises.
The same job title does not mean the same conditions. An order picker in a small warehouse may collect lightweight goods by hand, while at another site she may walk many kilometres during a shift and move full containers.
When reviewing WORKIUM vacancies, pay attention to how the work process is described: what must be picked up, how much the item weighs, how it is moved, how completion is confirmed, and what should be done if an error occurs. Such a description is more useful than the words «easy work».
A low weight for one item does not guarantee an easy process. The workload also depends on the number of repetitions, working posture, shelf height, temperature, and shift length.
Request written answers covering:
the weight of one item and the heaviest box;
how often the load must be lifted or carried;
how many hours the work is performed standing;
whether workers rotate between processes;
whether bending, reaching, or pushing a trolley is required;
the temperature in the work area;
whether there is a target and how it is calculated.
Example. Packing cosmetics weighing up to 1 kg may require the same movement to be repeated hundreds of times. At the same time, working with 5 kg boxes may be less tiring if they are moved less frequently and the employee rotates between operations. The weight alone explains little without the frequency of repetition.
If a vacancy is described as seated work, ask how much of the shift can actually be spent sitting. Sometimes a chair is available at only one stage, while the rest of the shift is spent standing at a table or walking to collect materials.
A 5/2 or 6/1 schedule does not show the shift length, night work, or breaks. For a realistic assessment, request an example of one working week showing the start and finish time of each shift.
Clarify:
whether shifts last 8, 10, or 12 hours;
whether the schedule is fixed or changes each week;
whether night shifts are compulsory;
how many breaks there are and how long they last;
whether the full target applies from the first day;
how additional hours are paid;
whether overtime can be refused;
what happens when the production line is idle.
A 6:00–18:00 schedule means more than 12 hours at the workplace. If the journey takes 70 minutes each way, the full day away from home may last more than 14 hours. This is why the address and transport should be checked together with the schedule.
WORKIUM recommends clarifying the training period separately, as well as the point at which the full target begins to apply. The phrase «after adaptation» should be replaced with a specific answer: how many shifts the training lasts, who supports new employees, and how the result is assessed.
The name «Warsaw» in an advertisement may refer to the city, the outskirts, or a company in the wider urban area. Request the exact workplace and accommodation addresses if housing is provided. Then check the route for the time when your shift begins and ends.
For each offer, record:
the transport zone;
the number of transfers;
the journey time on a working day;
the first and last available service;
the distance from the stop to the company;
whether a company bus is available;
the travel cost and who pays it.
Example. The shift starts at 6:00, but the final section of the route is served by a bus only from 5:45. Even if the complete journey takes 50 minutes during the day, the candidate will not reach the early shift on time. An alternative route, company transport, or different accommodation is required.
Before the first shift, save the company address, pick-up point, route, and coordinator's contact details offline. For a night shift, also check lighting along the final section and how to return if work ends earlier or later.
General employment conditions, documents, and city vacancies are covered on the work in Warsaw page. Here, the main criterion is whether the specific process, workload, and schedule are suitable for the candidate.
The WORKIUM catalogue for Warsaw and the wider urban area may include warehouses, packing, manufacturing processes, quality control, cleaning, and other types of work. The range of offers changes, so this list describes categories of work rather than guaranteeing a specific vacancy on the day it is viewed.
When comparing such vacancies, the team recommends looking first at five parameters: the full address, actual duties, maximum weight, schedule, and guaranteed pay. The label «for women» helps narrow the search, but does not replace a check of the working conditions.
If the candidate has no previous experience, clarify separately who provides the training, whether a mentor is present during the first shift, and from which day performance against the target is assessed. If this information is not included in the description, it should be clarified before accepting the vacancy.
Compare gross with gross or net with net. For each vacancy, you need the basic rate, guaranteed hours, supplements, bonus rules, and all known deductions.
A useful formula:
confirmed rate × guaranteed hours − accommodation − transport − other deductions agreed in writing.
Illustrative example: 28 PLN net × 180 hours = 5,040 PLN net before agreed expenses. If another vacancy offers 30 PLN but guarantees only 160 hours, the basic calculation is 4,800 PLN. A higher hourly rate does not always produce a higher monthly income.
Do not treat the maximum income in the headline as typical. Ask how many hours are guaranteed by the agreement and how many depend on orders, overtime shifts, or meeting the target.
Add the time and cost of travel when assessing a vacancy in Warsaw. An offer with a slightly lower rate may be more advantageous if the employer organises transport and the journey takes 20 minutes instead of 80.
Before accepting a vacancy, ask the manager to answer the following questions in writing:
What is the exact company address?
What are the daily duties?
What is the maximum weight and how often is it lifted?
How many hours are spent standing, sitting, or walking?
What is the schedule for the coming week?
Is the basic rate gross or net?
How many hours are guaranteed?
Which deductions apply?
How is transport organised?
Which language is used for training and the safety briefing?
Phrases such as «easy work», «high salary», or «everything will be shown on site» without specific answers should be treated with caution. If the address, position, rate, or schedule changes after arrival, do not start work until the new conditions have been explained and confirmed in writing.
Separate pages are needed for narrower searches — for example, work in Warsaw without language skills. On this page, the language requirement is only one of the parameters rather than the main topic.
These may include order picking, packing, simple production tasks, and general support roles with training provided. The actual requirements should be checked for each vacancy.
No. Even in warehousing, the weight of items and the frequency of lifting vary. Ask about both factors and find out what equipment or handling aids are used to move goods.
Only for positions that involve operating the relevant equipment. Check which certification is accepted and whether additional training is required.
Not at every workplace. Before applying, ask whether a permanent daytime shift is available and how often the schedule changes. Find out the exact start and finish times of each shift, and check transportation options for early morning and late-night shifts.
No. The workplace may be located in the metropolitan area. The exact address, transport zone, and route for your shift times are more important than the city name used in the job listing. Ask for the precise address and check the route from your accommodation for every shift.
