Work in Łódź for women includes warehouse, manufacturing, and support processes with different levels of pace and physical demand. The label «for women» does not explain how many hours must be spent standing, how often one operation must be repeated, how much weight must be lifted, or whether night shifts are required.
A vacancy should therefore be assessed by its specific duties, working posture, target, schedule, and guaranteed pay. The exact address is equally important: a route for a 6:00 shift may differ significantly from the daytime option.
The information was checked on 29 July 2026. Availability, rates, and requirements should be confirmed in the current vacancy listing.

View vacancies in Łódź for women
Vacancies may be available in Łódź and nearby towns in warehouses, packing, sorting, quality control, textile processes, and manufacturing. Some include training, while others require experience, attentiveness, or willingness to work shifts.
Possible operations include:
packing goods;
labelling;
sorting;
quality checks;
order picking with a scanner;
processing returns;
working with textile products;
assembling small parts;
preparing products for dispatch.
The job title does not show what the working day is really like. A «packer» may place lightweight items into boxes at a table or work beside a production line at a fixed pace for ten hours.
Before applying, ask for a description of a typical work process: what the employee handles, how much the item weighs, how it is moved, how many times the action is repeated, and what should be done if an error occurs.
The label «for women» helps candidates find suitable vacancies on WORKIUM more quickly, but the final decision should be based on the actual conditions. The range of open positions changes according to employers' needs.
The workload depends on more than the heaviest box. The frequency of movements, time spent in one posture, table height, production-line pace, and the possibility of rotating between processes are also important.
Before applying, clarify:
the weight of one item and the heaviest box;
how often it is lifted;
how many repetitions are performed per hour;
whether bending or reaching is required;
how much time the work is performed standing;
whether trolleys or other handling equipment are available;
whether workers rotate between operations.
Example. A part weighing 500 g may seem light. If the employee picks it up, turns it, checks it, and puts it aside every 15 seconds, that is up to 240 cycles per hour. The actual pace depends on the process, so this calculation shows only why frequency matters, not the target for a specific vacancy.
A 5 kg box may create less strain if it is moved only several times during a shift with the help of a trolley. This is why weight without frequency does not provide a complete answer.
WORKIUM recommends requesting a detailed description of the working day: how much time the employee spends standing, sitting, walking, and repeating one operation.
A seated workstation does not guarantee that the employee can sit throughout the entire shift. Materials may be stored on shelves, finished containers may need to be carried, and part of the day may be spent working on foot.
Clarify:
how many hours can actually be spent sitting;
whether the chair and table height are adjustable;
whether the employee must stand up to collect materials;
whether there is rotation with standing work;
how often breaks are provided;
whether a target applies to the seated operation.
The phrase «light work» may refer to low weight but fail to account for pace, night shifts, noise, or repeated movements. It should be checked against specific indicators.
Example. The employee sits while checking parts but moves finished trays and replenishes materials every hour. This is a mixed process rather than fully seated work.
If the description contains no figures, request a detailed written description or a video of the process without personal data.
A 5/2 or 6/1 schedule does not show the shift length, night work, or breaks. Request an example of an actual working week with start and finish times.
Check:
whether shifts last 8, 10, or 12 hours;
whether the schedule is fixed or rotating;
whether night shifts are compulsory;
how many hours are guaranteed;
how additional time is paid;
how many breaks are provided and how long they last;
how the training is organised;
when full performance against the target begins to be assessed.
Schedule example. A shift from 6:00 to 18:00 lasts 12 hours. If the journey takes 55 minutes each way, the employee spends almost 14 hours away from home.
A target requires a unit of measurement: parts, boxes, orders, or operations. Also clarify whether training time, technical stoppages, and unavailable materials are taken into account.
If the answer is «the target will be explained on site», ask how many shifts the adaptation period lasts, who supports new employees, and from which day full productivity is expected.
Also find out whether training shifts count as paid time and whether the rate differs during the adaptation period. Written confirmation should preferably be obtained before the first working day.
The name «Łódź» in a vacancy headline does not replace the full address. The company may be on the outskirts or outside the city's administrative boundaries.
Before accepting a vacancy, obtain the workplace and accommodation addresses if housing is provided. Plan the route for the actual time of each shift.
Check:
the first and last available service;
the number of transfers;
the journey time on weekdays and weekends;
the distance from the stop to the company;
whether a night route is available;
the pick-up point for the company bus;
the travel cost and payment arrangements.
Example. During the day, the route takes 40 minutes, but the first bus for the final section arrives after 6:00. An early shift requires alternative transport, a company bus, or different accommodation.
If the employer states «transport from Łódź», request the exact pick-up point, timetable, coordinator's contact details, and return arrangements if the shift is delayed.
Before the first working day, save the address, route, pick-up point, and coordinator's number offline.
A general overview of the city, documents, and vacancies is available on the work in Łódź page. Here, the address and transport are considered only as part of choosing a vacancy for women.
Compare gross with gross or net with net. Then include guaranteed hours, supplements, bonuses, and all deductions stated in writing.
Formula:
rate × guaranteed hours − accommodation − transport − other agreed expenses.
This is a method for comparing offers, not a promise of a specific income.
Illustrative example: 27 PLN net × 180 hours = 4,860 PLN net before expenses. Another vacancy with a rate of 29 PLN and 160 hours gives 4,640 PLN. A higher rate does not always mean a higher income.
If an advertisement offers «up to 240 hours», separate the guaranteed and maximum scenarios. Use the guaranteed number of hours for comparison.
Include a bonus of «up to 1,000 PLN» only after the conditions have been explained: attendance, productivity, quality, or the absence of lateness.
Add accommodation and transport to the expenses. A closer vacancy with a slightly lower rate may be more advantageous if it does not require a long journey and several transfers.
Record seven values for each offer: the exact address, daily duties, maximum weight, shift length, guaranteed hours, basic rate, and all deductions. Compare the information in the same format.
Example. Vacancy A has a higher rate but only 160 guaranteed hours and a 70-minute journey. Vacancy B pays slightly less but guarantees 180 hours and provides a company bus. Vacancies should be compared after calculating income and the total time spent away from home, not by one figure in the headline.
If even one parameter is missing, mark it as unconfirmed and do not fill in the missing information with assumptions.
Ask the manager to confirm in writing:
the exact company address;
the daily operations;
the maximum weight and lifting frequency;
the working posture and number of repetitions;
the schedule for the coming week;
the rate marked as gross or net;
the guaranteed hours;
the supplements and deductions;
the accommodation address and method of travel;
the language used for training and the safety briefing.
Words such as «easy», «convenient schedule», and «high salary» do not replace figures. If the duties, address, rate, or schedule change after arrival, the new conditions should be obtained in writing before work begins.
Work without language skills, vacancies for women with children, cleaning, accommodation, and specific occupations require separate pages. They do not become the main subject here.
These may include packing, sorting, labeling, quality inspection, and simple production tasks with training provided. The requirements depend on the specific vacancy.
Such positions may be available, but you should check how much time is actually spent working while seated, whether there are additional duties, what the productivity targets are, and whether there is rotation between workstations.
No. The work schedule depends on the employer. Before applying, ask whether a permanent daytime shift is available. Find out the exact start and finish times of each shift, and check transportation options for early morning and late-night shifts.
Ask about the specific task, how frequently the movements are repeated, how long you will work in the same position, and whether there is rotation between workstations. A light item weight does not necessarily mean the workload is low.
No. The workplace may be located on the outskirts or outside the city. You need the full address and should check the route based on your actual shift times. Ask for the exact address and verify the route from your accommodation for every shift.
