Work at the DPD postal warehouse

🧑🏻 Candidates: 
Men up to 45 years old.

📍 Place of work:
Poland, Kowale, Starowiejska 33 (~10 km from Gdańsk).

💵 Salary:
- 26.63 zł/hour net for persons over 26 years old, subject to no absences;
- 25 zł/hour net for persons over 26 years old, if there were absences;
- 32.50 zł/hour net for students under 26 years old (with student certificate);
- 33.50 zł/hour net for students under 26 years old, subject to no absences (with student certificate).

🕐 Work schedule:
- Work from Monday to Friday;
- Workday lasts 8 hours;
- Work from 00:00 to 08:00 or from 01:00 to 09:00;
- Work is conducted only in night shifts;
- During the workday, a 15 minute break is provided to rest and recharge. There are also several short breaks for smoking during the shift.

It is important to understand that the number of hours depends on how many orders are at the warehouse. If there are many orders, there will be more work, and hence more hours. If there are fewer orders, accordingly, the hours will be slightly less.

🛠 Responsibilities:
- Need to sort parcels by specified directions, load them onto the conveyor belt for further processing and unload in the appropriate warehouse zones.

🏠 Accommodation:
- Accommodation is not provided, you need to have your own housing;
- In case of self-renting housing, an additional payment of 1.50 zł for each hour of work is provided.

📌 Additional information:
- Work processes take place in motion and standing at the conveyor line;
- The weight of parcels usually ranges from 0.4 to 40 kilograms, so it is important to be prepared to work with different shipments;
- Travel to the workplace by public transport;
- Advance payment is provided after 14 days of work in the amount of 400 zł;
- Salary is credited on the 20th of the month to a bank account.

📋 Documents:

⏳ Minimum work period:
Minimum work period is not required, however, you need to give two weeks' notice for resignation. If you resign without notice, a penalty of 1000 zł is withheld.

💵 Salary:
- 25.44 zł/hour net regular rate;
- 31.50 zł/hour net for students up to 26 years old (with student certificate);
- A bonus of 2 zł/hour gross is provided for full attendance.

🕐 Work schedule:
- Work from Monday to Saturday, with an option to work on Sunday if desired;
- Working day lasts 7–8 hours — from 01:00 to 08:00 or until 09:00;
- During the workday, two breaks of 30 and 15 minutes are provided;
- On average, it is possible to work 170–220 hours per month.

It is important to understand that the number of hours depends on how many orders are in the warehouse. If there are many orders, there will be more work and hence more hours. If there are fewer orders, accordingly, there will be slightly fewer hours.

🛠 Responsibilities:
- It is necessary to load and unload packages, as well as sort them according to specified directions for subsequent dispatch.

🏠 Accommodation:
- Accommodation is not provided, own housing is required;
- If you rent accommodation independently, an additional payment of 1 zł gross is provided for each hour worked.

Umowa zlecenia.

📌 Additional information:
- The weight of the packages ranges approximately from 300 grams to 40 kilograms;
- Transport to the place of work is not provided, therefore you need to get there independently by public transport;
- Work clothes and shoes are provided for free. If worked less than 3 months, 200 zł will be deducted from the last salary;
- Insurance costs 97 zł per month (the amount is deducted from the salary). This only applies to individuals up to 26 years old with student status;
- An advance payment is provided after 14 working days,  the amount is up to 600 zł;
- Salary is credited from the 20th to the 22nd of the month to the bank account for the previous month worked.
